Chapter 1365
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1365:
? ? ? ? ?
âNicole, am I dreaming? Can you say that again? Did you really say yes?â âNicole, Nicoleâ¦â
Doreen reacted quickly and landed a hard slap across Nicole's face. She roared hysterically, "Why hasn't anyone taken this crazy woman out yet?"
The security guards sprang into action and rushed to capture Nicole.
As time was running out, Nicole grabbed Roscoe's arm tightly and said, "Roscoe, you don't love Doreen. You've never loved her. Don't marry her or you'll regret it. The Watts family is exploiting you. They want to... Ah!"
Suddenly, Nicole's head was yanked back. Several bodyguards in black suits pulled her hair, grabbed her by the neck, covered her mouth and dragged her away.
âWait a minute!â Roscoe screamed instinctively, stopping the bodyguards.
The bodyguards paused, uncertain, waiting for Roscoe's next words.
However, the overwhelming pain in Roscoe's head made him struggle to speak his mind, sweat breaking out on his forehead.
Just then, Miguel hurriedly intervened. âWhat are you waiting for? Get her out quickly! âItâs not yet time for Roscoe to take over the Watts family.â
His tone dripped with malice as he ordered, âTake this woman away, now!â
The bodyguards took note. Miguel was now the boss in the Watts family. It was not Roscoe's turn yet.
Roscoe could only watch in agony as Nicole was forcibly taken away, the pain in his head leaving him speechless.
Shortly afterwards, overwhelmed, Roscoe collapsed to the ground with a loud thud. He had fainted.
The bodyguards remaining on stage acted quickly and carried Roscoe to the bathroom on a stretcher.
The host quickly took control of the situation and announced: âIt seems the groom is feeling unwell. We will entertain him with music and dancing while he remains. Afterwards, we will continue with the ceremony.â
As the host made the announcement, a popular singer stepped onto the stage, immediately capturing the audience's attention.
In the living room.
Miguel turned to the woman in red standing beside him and asked coldly, âHow can we wake him up?â
The woman in red assessed Roscoe's condition, took his pulse, then looked at the white-bearded old man standing beside him.
He began to speak in an unintelligible language.
The old man listened to her attentively before shaking his head and waving his hand, giving a long reply.
Miguel, bewildered by the exchange, sensed that the situation was serious.
Turning to Miguel, the woman in red explained, âMy master believes this is a consequence of the overdose. The excessive amount that had been administered to him had overloaded his brain. Any foreign stimulus could cause confusion in his head. âIt could be said that it was quite harsh, as others might have been sentenced to brain death while he simply passed out.â
Miguel stroked his beard contemplatively and declared, âWe must make sure the wedding goes ahead. Find a way to make it happen.â
