Chapter 1363
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1363:

âIsn't he here?â Nicole pointed toward the living room behind the servant.
"Why haven't I seen him leave?"
The servant followed Nicole's gesture and turned around. With a wry smile, he said: "Then he's not here. They've set up ten identical rooms today, each with guards in front of them. It's almost comical. You'd think the groom was a fugitive with so many decoys and guards around him."
Nicole felt her head spin. She realized she had been tricked. It wasn't that she lacked intelligence, but the Watts family was exceptionally cautious and cunning. They had prepared for any disturbance.
Nicole no longer bothered to pick up the scattered candies and ran towards the main wedding banquet hall.
âHey, you haven't finished collecting the candy. Why are you running away again?â The maid stomped her foot in anger. âIâll get the manager immediately to fire you, you unreliable person!â
At the wedding venue.
The Watts and Schultz families jointly hosted the wedding, creating a lavish scene with a large crowd.
As the host made his energetic announcement, dressed in a white wedding dress, Doreen held onto the arm of an elderly man and gracefully made her way to the stage.
At the other end of the stage stood Roscoe, dressed in a red brocade tailcoat adorned with a groom's insignia, his tall posture giving him a noble and elegant appearance.
Seeing Roscoe's striking features, Doreen's heart raced. She had never imagined that this day would come so quickly. She had finally captured the proud man. She would soon be his wife.
As they approached and were about to join hands, Doreen's eldest attempted to pass Doreen's hand to Roscoe, but Roscoe did not react. He kept a stoic expression and did not take Doreen's hand.
The atmosphere on stage became somewhat awkward.
The host, with a tight smile, said, âGroom, please hold your brideâs hand.â
Roscoe still didn't respond.
The murmurs among the guests grew louder.
"What's going on? Does the groom not want to marry the bride?"
"I've heard that the bride can be quite domineering and difficult to handle. It seems this guy doesn't want to marry her!"
"If he doesn't want to marry her, he should have backed out earlier. Why make a scene now? Isn't this humiliating for both families?"
"I have to say that this must be the consequence of a forced marriage..."
"But haven't you noticed anything strange about the groom?"
"Something strange about him?"
"I've seen the groom before. His eyes didn't seem so dull."
To describe Roscoe as boring was an understatement. He looked as if his soul had deserted him, like a finely carved wooden puppet.
