Chapter 1362:

Arriving at the door of the salon, Nicole found it guarded by bodyguards.
It seemed like the Watts family was being overly careful. They were not only protecting her, but apparently also Roscoe. Could it be that the Watts family had sensed that something was wrong with Roscoe?
Growing unease prompted Nicole to burst into the hall to check things out for herself. However, the guards were extremely alert, making it impossible for anyone to sneak in.
Frustrated and anxious, Nicole feels helpless outside the guarded room. She quietly hid to the side, waiting for Roscoe to emerge.
However, after waiting for a long time, there was still no sign of activity in the room.
After waiting for almost two hours, Nicole felt her feet go numb before the guards finally left.
Sensing that something was wrong, Nicole decided to check the room out for herself. She walks over to the door, pushes it open, and opens it easily.
The room was empty, with not the slightest indication that anyone had been here.
Nicole blinked, puzzled. Why would guards be watching an empty room?
Nicole soon realized that she had been tricked. She rushed out and, in her rush, collided with another servant.
âOh, what are you in such a hurry?â the maid, gasping in pain, scolded Nicole sharply.
âI'm sorry⦠I'm so sorryâ¦â Nicole quickly apologized.
As she was about to leave, the maid grabbed her and shouted angrily, âWhere do you think you're going? âPick up my things before you run away.â
The candies were scattered on the floor.
Nicole had no choice but to bend down and help the maid pick up the candies.
The servant looked at her, whimpering: âHow did they hire you? You have no manners. Bumping into someone and then trying to escape. âIâm going to tell the manager and youâll get out of here.â
Nicole, keeping her maid costume, remained silent and concentrated on collecting the candies.
Just then, the familiar wedding entrance music resounded throughout the mansion. The banquet had officially begun.
Hearing this, Nicole's hands trembled. She turned to the servant and asked, "Has the wedding started?"
"Yes, that's why I'm leaving now. They're already handing out candy at the entrance," the servant replied.
âSo whereâs the groom?â Nicole asked. âWhere has the groom gone?â
The servant looked at Nicole as if she were a fool. âWhat are you talking about?â She's obviously at the wedding banquet. Where else would she be?â
Nicole firmly grabbed the servant's wrist and insisted, "Wasn't the groom in the living room?"
âWhy are you so aggressive?â The maid pushed her hand away angrily. âThe groom can't stay in the drawing room all day. âHe has to appear on the scene at some point.â
