Chapter 1349
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1349:
? ? ? ? ?
Nicole's body was a map of pain, her bones seemed to grind against her flesh. Immobilized, she could not muster the strength to crawl or even lift her arms.
However, she gathered her courage and refused to succumb to death at the hands of her ruthless captors. Inside the wooden house, numerous young girls were waiting for her, whose escape plans depended on her signal.
Nicole had made a promise and now all her hopes depended on her determination.
When the guard reached Nicole's foot, she gathered all her willpower, slowly leaned against the wall, and stood up.
With a quick twist, he grabbed a vine from the ground and wrapped it tightly around the guard's neck, strangling him.
Nicole chose not to use the fruit fork. Squeezing his vocal cords was enough to silence him.
After counting fifty, the guard's head tilted to one side and his body stopped moving.
Nicole collapsed to the ground, her entire body numb.
Nicole knew that any of the ruthless men surrounding the girls would not let them escape, no matter what. If they sensed any hint of trouble, they would eliminate everyone.
For these ruthless captors, human lives were disposable. Even if they killed these âproperties,â there were always substitutes available. Money was their only concern.
Nicole spat a mouthful of blood on the guard's face in a small act of defiance. She deserved it.
After a short break of no more than five minutes, Nicole stood up. There was no time to rest. Other girls depend on her.
Moving stealthily, Nicole reached the cabin and took cover. Peeking out, she checked to see if the two guards were still at their posts.
The facility was heavily secured on all levels, making a direct escape impossible.
Even if he had neutralized the two guards, there were many other checkpoints, each with half a dozen guards.
Furthermore, the guards at the main gate were of a different kind.
Nicole knew that the two men she had taken care of had not brought their firearms, allowing her to seize the moment and overpower them.
However, the guards posted outside were armed with real guns.
If she and the other girls tried to confront those mocking, well-armed guards with makeshift weapons, it was clear that they wouldn't even stand a chance before meeting death.
After analyzing the situation, Nicole came to the conclusion that the only recourse was the van parked in the courtyard, the keys to which she had just obtained from the deceased guard.
Hiding all the kidnapped girls inside the vehicle offered them their only chance of escape.
Although the idea seemed crazy, it presented the most viable and solitary option.
Fleeing into the mountains proved impractical. Aside from the dangers posed by wolves, tigers and leopards, the guards were experts in mountainous terrain. Without sustenance or support, the kidnapped girls would inevitably be discovered, with no hope of being rescued in time.
So Nicole had carefully considered this approach. The time had come to take action, leaving her and the other kidnapped girls no other way out!
Nicole noticed one of the two guards outside heading to the washroom. This indicated his need for relief, a process that was likely to be time-consuming.
If it was just a matter of urinating, he could have done it discreetly in a secluded spot or on the grass.
These individuals lacked civilized habits. Their lifestyle reflected that of primitive societies.
