Chapter 1334

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1334:

? ? ? ? ?

Nicole's trepidation intensified as the countdown to Roscoe's wedding slowed to just three days. She knew that once the wedding was over, escaping the clutches of the Watts family would become an exponentially greater challenge for Roscoe.

Furthermore, the Watts family had been exploiting Roscoe for their own gains, even taking advantage of Roscoe's impending marriage. In the event of an accident, the Schultz family would be caught out and would likely sacrifice Roscoe to protect Doreen.

Nicole picked up the phone and decided to intervene.

Unbeknownst to her, Roscoe was under Miguel's control at the Watts estate.

Turning to the butler, Roscoe asked, “Where is Michael?” “He mentioned illness and requested my presence.”

Tricked by the butler, Roscoe returned home involuntarily. Miguel's supposed illness was a fabrication. His health remained stable.

The butler reassured him: “Sir, please be patient. Why don't you have a coffee while your father is being examined? “You can visit him when they are finished.”

Roscoe sat down and refused the coffee. However, the heat of the room and his growing thirst forced him to take it. He raised the cup to his lips and drank the contents in one gulp.

But with each sip, dizziness enveloped Roscoe, and his thoughts grew even cloudier.

“Another cup, please…” Before Roscoe could finish, the cup flew out of his hands, shattering on impact.

Undeterred, the butler quickly arranged for Roscoe to be transported, ordering: “Take good care of him and get him some nutrient solution through an IV. Don’t let him wake up.”

Since Roscoe's incessant demands were disturbing the peace, they decided to let him sleep for three days. This would avoid any trouble.

After taking care of the matter, the butler handed Roscoe's phone to Miguel. "Sir, this is your son's phone. It's been ringing continuously, and a woman named Nicole has been trying to get in touch with him. I don't know if she knows anything. Would you like to take care of it?"

The butler had been working for Miguel for years, his ruthless nature and remarkable competence had earned Miguel's trust.

Miguel looked at the blinking notifications of missed calls and messages on Roscoe's phone, and his silver eyebrows knitted together.

“This woman is truly…” Miguel stroked his mustache and commented, “But I still don't know the intentions of that bastard from that Schultz family. “I’ll have to find out first before I decide whether to kill her or spare her.”

Miguel only made a show of respect for Jarrod. In reality, I have deeply detested Jarrod, as he had caused the Watts family much suffering because of Roscoe, a man who shared a past with Nicole.

It should be noted that Jarrod was incredibly powerful and decisive, coupled with his ruthless nature. The legend of his achievements abroad had been circulating in the circle for many years.

No one in the Watts family had the courage to act recklessly against Jarrod. After all, the Watts family was still concerned about the safety of its members.

But the butler thought otherwise. In his eyes, anyone who posed a threat to the well-laid plan deserved to be eliminated.

Erring on the side of caution was always the wisest choice.

“Sir, this woman is a nuisance. We cannot allow her to create trouble at the wedding, as it could be disastrous if we end up offending the Schultz family while losing control of their son. Who knows if there won't be more trouble?” the butler asked.

The butler was loyal and sincere, but he had already made up his mind. Whether or not Miguel gave his consent, Nicole had to be killed. Anyone who endangered the heir to the Watts family throne would be eliminated. Of course, Roscoe was not the heir.

Miguel was convinced by the butler and thought it was the right thing to do. Nicole was indeed a nuisance. Roscoe had challenged him several times in the past because of her. Since that was the case, they had to deal with her thoroughly and cleanly.
