Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1330:

All suspicions were now validated.

Nicole's mind went blank. She had imagined Roscoe forging his independence, free from his influence, only to find that unforeseen danger awaited him. Given the Watts family's exploitation of him, Roscoe had to get out of the situation.

Nicole asked Jemma for a leave of absence and then took a taxi to Roscoe's workplace.

Without Roscoe's current contact information, panic consumed Nicole throughout the ride. Finally, the cab pulled up in front of the Watts Group headquarters.

Nicole headed straight to the company's reception desk and asked, "Excuse me, may I speak to Mr. Roscoe Watts?"

“Have you made an appointment with Mr. Watts?” the receptionist inquired.

“No,” Nicole replied, shaking her head.

The receptionist then said, “I’m afraid you can’t meet him without an appointment.”

“I am a friend of Mr. Watts. Could you please contact him and let him know that Nicole Lawrence is here? It is urgent. Please ask him to meet me.”

“I'm sorry, Miss. We strictly adhere to appointments for visitors. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate you.” The receptionist firmly declined.

Although some small businesses were looking for opportunities and numerous individuals were eager to meet Roscoe, Miguel's manager maintained a strict policy against unscheduled visits. The receptionist hesitated to ask informally.

Nicole, growing increasingly uneasy, said, “I assure you that I know Mr. Watts well. Please call him. If you refuse, I will leave immediately. Is that okay with you?”

The receptionist examined Nicole's appearance, taking in her attractiveness and impeccable appearance, which did not suggest disappointment.

Despite her initial uncertainty, the receptionist couldn't make up her mind immediately.

In a moment of recollection, Nicole found a photo of her and Roscoe together on her phone, feeling a surge of urgency as she presented it to the receptionist.

"You can see here that I know Mr. Watts. Could you please make a call to confirm this?"

Examining the photo, the receptionist noted that they knew each other from afar, affirming Roscoe's familiarity with Nicole.

After a moment of hesitation, the receptionist agreed. “I’ll contact your secretary to check.”

“Thank you,” Nicole replied gratefully.

The receptionist dialed the number and relayed Nicole's request. Although Nicole could not hear the conversation, the receptionist responded affirmatively several times.

After finishing the call, the receptionist politely said to Nicole: “Miss, please wait here for a moment. “Someone will be down shortly.”

Hearing this, Nicole breathed a sigh of relief. Sitting in the foyer, she pondered how best to break the news to Roscoe.

With his memory empty of their common past and anything related to her, would he believe her?

However, Nicole remained steadfast in her belief that Roscoe had simply lost part of his memory, not his faculties. If she harbored doubts and continued to investigate, she would inevitably uncover Miguel's betrayal.

Armed with the knowledge, he could thwart Miguel's plans, or at least protect himself against them.
