Chapter 1326

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1326:

? ? ? ? ?

Through gritted teeth, Nicole cleared her throat, “I didn't do it!”

Nicole glared at Jarrod, her anger simmering beneath the surface.

"You have hurt Roscoe, and you are fully aware of it! Stop acting like you have the right to judge others while you wallow in morals decay."

Jarrod's expression changed to a menacing scowl as he grabbed Nicole by the collar, his jaw clenched in fury. “So I’m the villain and Roscoe’s the angel, huh?”

Panting, her cheeks flushed with intense anger, Nicole struggled against his hold.

Jarrod's voice dropped to a venomous whisper. "You think Roscoe is decent, Nicole, but I'll open your eyes to his flaws."

He suddenly let go of her and watched as she collapsed to the ground, her breathing ragged and desperate. “I will show you how a man can return, becoming even more despicable than I am.”

Jarrod then turned on his heel and walked away, leaving Nicole writing in rage and confusion on the cold, hard ground. Her mind was in turmoil, unable to understand Jarrod's cryptic threat.

Nicole knew that this circle would do anything to tarnish Roscoe, inducing him to commit regrettable acts that would haunt him forever. They would leave him to wallow in his remorse.

Nicole sat on the sandy sidewalk, the skin on her neck burning from Jarrod's cruel grip.

Suddenly, a pair of white high heels stopped in front of her.

Vicki looked down, a cold chuckle as her eyes glittered with disdain.

"You're pathetic, Nicole, you look like a dog begging for scraps."

Nicole pursed her lips, refusing to take Vicki's bait.

Vicki pulled a $500 bill out of her purse and tossed it to Nicole with a sneer. “This is the service fee for you. I'm paying for Jarrod. Remember your place.”

In the dim light of the bar, where even newbies were paid $500 an hour, the amount was a stark insult. It marked Nicole as nothing more than a disposable trinket, destined to be thrown away and trampled on.

Nicole, however, collected the money with a forced smile. “Thank you, Miss Hampton.

Nicole maintained her composure, focusing solely on deflecting Vicki's cruelty to safeguard her son.

Despite past humiliations that had nearly crushed her when the Lawrence family was destroyed, Nicole had persevered.

Strangers and acquaintances alike had hurled venomous words at her, used the vile language, and spread false rumors about her. She had endured difficult times.

Now, only the opinions of those she loved could hurt her. Mere words had lost their sting.

Vicki looked at Nicole's serene expression and felt a pang of unease.

He had witnessed Jarrod's furious grip on Nicole's neck moments before. It was clear that this was not the behavior of a man who had moved on.

True detachment should manifest itself as indifference, but Jarrod had shown intense aggression towards Nicole. However, as soon as he saw Nicole struggling to breathe, he became frightened and immediately let go of her.

This inconsistency did not convince Vicki that Jarrod had actually let her go. Instead, it made Nicole seem like a significant threat to her.

Vicki's eyelid twitched ominously as she clenched her fist, trying to quell her rising anger. “Nicole, I'm warning you! Stay away from Jarrod. If I catch you flirting with him again, you'll get more than just $500. It’ll be a ‘special gift’…”
