Chapter 1304

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1304:

? ? ? ? ?

Deniz didn't believe Nicole or Vicki. Vicki only seemed generous on the surface. Deniz had seen her type before, and she knew that when such people lost control, they were scarier than lunatics. It was best not to provoke women like that.

Deniz's doubts made him lose interest in Nicole. After all, there were plenty of women in the world. Although Nicole was captivating, it wasn't enough to make him lose his mind. He had just returned to Ardlens and couldn't allow any more mistakes. He had to be careful with every decision.

Deniz remained distrustful and snapped: "I think you're just trying to trick me."

Deniz was far from naïve. After years of navigating the intricate web of the business world, he had become as shrewd as anyone in his network. His keen observations had sharpened, allowing him to understand the hidden motives of those around him.

"You and Vicki are terrible. You each wish the other was dead," Deniz said.

He laughed lightly, a hint of irony in his smile. “Are you trying to use me as a escapegoat?”

Nicole's expression remained serene, her calmness contrasting with the tension in the room. "If you doubt my words, I can show you how to verify them."

Deniz’s gaze intensified. “What method?”

With a strategic tilt of her head, Nicole suggested, “Call Vicki. Tell her you tortured me to death. Her reaction will reveal the truth.”

Deniz thought it was a brilliant strategy. She had never thought that Nicole was as beautiful as she was intelligent.

Deniz picked up her phone, the cold device suddenly feeling heavy in her hand, and dialed Vicki's number.

She answered immediately. “Mr. Miller, what's wrong?”

Vicki's voice usually had a disinterested tone when she spoke to Deniz, but tonight it was tinged with anxious anticipation, possibly hopeful at the news of Nicole's downfall.

Pretending to panic, Deniz blurted out, “Vicki, something horrible has happened…”

There was a wave of joy in Vicki's initial silence, as if she enjoyed the thought that Nicole was incapacitated or worse. She asked, in a voice of feigned concern, "What happened?"

Maintaining her act, Deniz's voice trembled. "She's dead. I killed Nicole."

There was a great silence on the line.

As the story dragged on, Deniz's suspicions about Vicki grew deeper. "What do we do now, Miss Hampton?"

Vicki came back to reality and asked, “Mr. Miller, what exactly happened? “How did he die?”

Vicki had considered the possibility that Nicole was incapacitated, but she never imagined that Deniz would actually kill Nicole. This outcome was completely unexpected. She could only ask first.

Deniz snapped: “I don't know. He was so weak that he just died, before he could even begin. It’s totally irrational.”

His harsh tone made Vicki frown, even though she was listening on the other end of the phone. However, this rudeness fit Deniz's usual manner, and Vicki believed him without question.

She remained silent for a long moment, thinking about how to handle the situation. After all, she was the one who had orchestrated Nicole's involvement. If Jarrod were to find out, it would destroy the image of benevolence and generosity she had so carefully built up. She did not want to tarnish her reputation for what seemed like a trivial incident.

Vicki's prolonged silence sent a chill through Deniz's heart. She began to suspect that Nicole's accusations might have some truth to them.

“Miss Hampton, what should we do?” “This situation is really awkward.”
