Chapter 1285
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1285:
? ? ? ? ?
âYou don't understand? Let me explain.â Nicole's lips twitched into a slight smile. âIâm telling you to go away.â
âYou!â Jarrod was furious, his fist clenched and then punched out in anger.
âIf it weren't for my intervention, by nowâ¦â He paused, seemingly struggling to finish his words. âYou would have died.â
âMaybe death would be preferable to being saved by you. Do you think I appreciate your rescue, Jarrod?â Nicole's chilling words pierced Jarrod, squeezing his heart relentlessly.
On the verge of anger, Jarrod shouted, "Nicole! Don't be ungrateful."
âOf all the things you've done since you came back, which one wasn't enough to make you die a thousand times over? I've pleased you so many times. Where have I ever wronged you?â Jarrod said through gritted teeth.
Nicole laughed mockingly.
âCan you blame me? This is all your fault. If you hadn't forcibly controlled me, would I have done those harmful things to you? Jarrod, I always confront you with fairness and impartiality. But what about you? You resort to all kinds of dirty tricks. This time is no different. You've taken care of Derek. Who will you kill next? Leighton?â Nicole retort coldly.
"I didn't do it," Jarrod denied flatly. "I didn't kill Derek."
Nicole laughed again. âOf course you didn't. Trivial matters like that aren't worth getting your hands dirty. After all, you're a big shot. All you have to do is give an order, and there will be people doing the job for you. And they'll probably do it perfectly. What does a human life mean to you? âYou treat people cruelly because their lives are worthless to you.â
Jarrod grabbed Nicole's wrist tightly and said angrily, "I said no!"
âJarrod, let me go!â Nicole struggled desperately to free herself from her grip. âAfter you made Roscoe lose his memory and took Austin away from me, anything you say or do will only make me feel bad.â
Jarrod's body stiffened for a moment. Then his grip on Nicole's wrist loosened unconsciously.
He remained silent for a while. Finally, he turned to the door, walked out, and slammed it behind him.
The force made the bed shake several times.
Fortunately, Jarrod managed to restrain himself and get out in time. Only he knew that if he stayed a little longer, he could end up destroying Nicole.
She hated him so much that no matter what he did, he couldn't change her. Even Roscoe, who she hadn't known for long, meant more to her than he did. In her eyes, he was worthless. He was nothing compared to the others.
All of this made Jarrod's heart boils with hatred. The nerves in his brain clashed wildly, frantically wanting to tear everything apart.
Jarrod rushed to the bathroom.
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard.
Jarrod's hands were covered in blood, and the wooden door had a hole in it where he broke it open with his bare hands.
This scene was witnessed by everyone passing by and by the nurses on duty. They immediately began to argue.
The young nurse called the security room directly and asked the guards to come.
When the security guards arrived, they approached Jarrod without saying a word, wanting to take him away.
Jarrod's eyes were bloodshot. It was as if he could instantly tear them apart with a glance.
