“Facial recognition?” Nicole picked up the phone and pointed it at Derek's face, but its features were covered in blood and the phone failed to unlock.

He went into the forest and declared: “Do you think you can hide? No way. “I will find you!”

With those words, he disappeared into the forest.

Jarrod played the recording of Alec's call with Derek while he was driving. He was aware that both Derek and Nicole had disappeared after the car accident.
