"Excellent. As long as we can verify Mr. Schultz's mental health, I'm confident we can win this case," Rhett assured him.

His impressive track record at the Dixon Group was a testament to his abilities. His decision to resign and study abroad was motivated by a desire to improve his knowledge and contribute more effectively to his country.

One night, after leaving a restaurant with Rhett, Nicole stood on the side of the road waiting for a ride.

“You're the woman who used to follow my uncle around…” Doreen exclaimed loudly.

Nicole replied firmly, “I have no relationship with Mr. Schultz, not now or ever.” If there ever was any relationship, it was only because they were Austin's biological parents.

“Jarrod’s official partner has always been a member of the Hampton family,” Doreen scoffed. “I'm just being polite when I say you followed him around. In reality, you were just his mistress.”

Nicole's expression instantly cooled.

Doreen, seemingly oblivious, stared at Nicole's striking appearance and refused to soften her attack. “Don't act virtuous. You were merely my uncle's mistress, using your good looks to curry favor with the Lawrence family. Unfortunately, they are too weak to be of any use…”

These words cut Nicole deeply. If Doreen knew the truth, she would not dare to say such nonsense. It was Jarrod's unyielding demands that had really undermined the Lawrence family.
