Chapter 1192

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1192:

? ? ? ? ?

Destitute and probably harboring a deep-seated hatred of Jarrod, Deniz fit well into the old adage. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” It was a principle as old as commerce itself.

“Mr. Hampton, I heard you haven't been feeling well lately, so I came to check on you,” Deniz said obsequiously as she handed a bag of health supplements to the servant.

For Deniz, Lowe was now a vital pillar of support, a potential lifeline to getting her business back on track and restoring her position at Ardlens.

"Mr. Miller, you are very kind. I am not seriously ill," Lowe replied.

"What brings you to see me?"

Deniz smiled and said, “I heard that you have recently had some disagreements with Mr. Schultz of the Schultz Group.”

Lowe had his own ideas, never one to reveal his full hand ahead of time.

With a forced smile, Lowe replied: “Deniz, where did you hear that? Jarrod is my future brother-in-law. We just happened to be talking. “We are family after all.”

Lowe's words prompted Deniz to get straight to the point.

Deniz, feeling a jolt, rose from her seat. “Lowe, Jarrod is ambitious. Do you remember what he did to the Lawrence family?”

Everyone knew that Nicole came from the Lawrence family. The Lawrence family had a history with the Schultzes. When Jarrod returned years ago, he took over the Lawrence family's businesses, even trapping Nicole by his side to humiliate her. It was no wonder Nicole detested Jarrod.

Lowe, hardened by wealth, chose to play dumb. “What has the Lawrence affair to do with me? “Ambition is not a bad thing in a future brother-in-law.”

Deniz, furious, couldn't believe that Lowe, once a carefree playboy, was now so cunning. It was like pulling teeth to get him to explain. Apparently, Lowe had caught Jarrod's cunning after spending so much time with him.

But considering his current situation, Deniz understood that he could not confront Lowe. Even if Lowe was missing, Lowe still had his father's support, while he had nothing left. His last chance to return to Ardlens depended on this. Ardlens meant a lot to him, as all his roots and connections were there.

Deniz decided to speak her mind. “Since Jarrod had managed to absorb the Lawrence family’s businesses, have you considered that perhaps his upcoming marriage to his sister is nothing more than a ploy? Perhaps his real intention is to absorb the Hampton family empire. After all, he has suffered significant losses this time, and getting back to the top of the Schultz Group won't be easy.”

Lowe replied calmly: “Deniz, you’re overthinking this. If Jarrod wants to acquire the Hampton family empire, he'll have to deal with my father, and you know my old man is no ordinary man.”

Knowing that Wayne had worked his way up in the cutthroat world of business, he wouldn't be naive.

If Jarrod was going to swallow up the Hampton family empire, Wayne needed to have some leverage over Jarrod, keeping him in line.

“Lowe, let's be frank. Your father isn't getting any younger, and accidents can happen to anyone…” Seeing Lowe’s expression darken, Deniz quickly clarified, “I’m not cursing your father. I'm simply pointing out that when it comes to Jarrod, treading carefully is crucial. Look at my situation. “I’m a native of Ardlens, and yet I can’t even go back, hiding like a rat.”

Deniz, acting instincts kicking in and tears glistening, said bitterly: "Why is this happening to me? I just wanted to hook up with Nicole and she did this to me."

Lowe comforted her: “Deniz, you've been through a lot. “I felt Jarrod was wrong to act like that over a woman.”

Feeling a sense of connection, Deniz quickly added, “I heard Jarrod has a history with you, all because of Nicole.”

Lowe remained silent, without responding.

Deniz insisted: “Lowe, look, I just want to get back to Ardlens. “We’re on the same page when it comes to dealing with Jarrod.”
