Chapter 1190

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1190:

? ? ? ? ?

His words eased the tension evident on Vicki's face. She and Jarrod were due to be married in three months, and Jarrod's reference to having children suggested that he envisioned a future with her as the mother of his children.

Vicki's worries were instantly dissolved, convinced that giving birth to Jarrod's children would cement their relationship and ensure a happy future together.

Lowe, furious, was convinced that Jarrod knew about his oligospermia. Damn! Jarrod always knew how to hit where it hurt.

“You're so sure of yourself, Jarrod,” Lowe sneered, turning to Vicki to stir up more trouble. “Sis, you better watch out. He said 'have kids,' but he didn't specify with whom. Don't flatter yourself. This man doesn't love you…”

Before Lowe could continue, Wayne gave him a hard blow to the head. “Can’t you say anything decent?”

Looking at Lowe's haggard appearance, Wayne added scornfully, "He's your future brother-in-law. Keep your mouth clean."

Lowe bit back his retort. Brother-in-law? I scoffed, knowing full well that Vicki was the product of Wayne's affair. Otherwise, there would be no brother-in-law.

Lowe held back, however, knowing that Wayne's affection for Vicki was largely due to the fact that she reminded him of her mother, the woman Wayne had never stopped loving.

Lowe did not share Wayne's enduring romantic feelings. He was quick to love and leave, forgetting each woman as soon as she disappeared from his life.

“Jarrod, don't take it to heart. This boy has been spoiled by me. Please guide him in business, as he is not as skilled as you.”

Wayne explained, justifying his leniency toward Lowe due to his age and the absence of other male heirs.

Although Wayne had a less favorable view of Jarrod's personal affairs, he appreciated his business savvy and actually thought Jarrod was far more competent than Lowe.

In these high circles of society, fidelity among men was rare.

Minor scandals were often overlooked if one had the necessary influence.

Jarrod, who had ties to the Hampton family through his upcoming marriage to Vicki, was expected to help sort out the mess and problems Lowe had caused, but Wayne's opinion of Jarrod's character was too optimistic.

Known for his vindictive streak, Jarrod was unlikely to ignore Lowe's continued provocations.

As the event concluded, a comment from Lowe sparked lethal intent in Jarrod.

“Mr. Schultz, no wonder you were attracted to that woman. So slender, yet unexpectedly tempting and curvaceous. “I couldn’t help myself after seeing her.” Frustrated by his father's reprimand, Lowe was in a bad mood and inclined to make things difficult for Jarrod by provoking him.

Aware of Jarrod's feelings for Nicole, Lowe deliberately encouraged him by adding, "That video of you with that woman, I always put it on before I start with others. It's more effective than any drug. Just seeing her exquisite body turns me on. .."

Jarrod's normally calm demeanor instantly changed, his eyes flashing with a fierce, killing attempt that caused Lowe to take a step back in fright.

“Don't look at me like that. I’m not afraid of you…” Despite his bold words, Lowe instinctively hid behind his bodyguard, intimidated by Jarrod’s menacing gaze, which seemed powerful enough to devour him whole.

Jarrod paused briefly and quickly regained his cool, his demeanor carefree once again. He had spent a considerable sum deleting that video when it first came to light. Although it was no longer available on the Internet, he knew he couldn't rule out the possibility that someone still had a copy.

Jarrod flashed a dazzling smile and warned, “Lowe, remember not to speak carelessly next time. I'm not into men, and if people find out you're clinging to my video, they might think you have designs on me. Hey, I'm your future brother-in-law. Your father isn't getting any younger, and those rumors could be the death of him. If anything were to happen to your father, Lowe, you'd be the one to blame.”

“You!” Lowe seethed. Jarrod had twisted his comments to imply his preference, rather than a simple reaction to Nicole.
