Chapter 1167
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1167:
? ? ? ? ?
After the roller coaster of losing and regaining Raegan, Mitchel was eager to announce to the world that Raegan was his wife.
However, considering a wedding so soon after the death of Davey, Raegan's biological father, seemed out of place to Mitchel.
Luciana, watching Raegan and knowing the couple's reserved nature, realized that without a little nudge, they would remain silent. Eager to become an official grandmother, she decided to intervene.
âRaegan, would you like to have a wedding? Itâs up to you,â I suggested softly.
Raegan turned to Mitchel, meeting his hopeful gaze, his mind transparent to her. She had thought about it herself. Her previous wedding to Stefan in Aurora had been nothing more than a farce, with many traditional elements missing.
It had been Raegan who had suggested skipping them, thinking that certain rites should be reserved for a heartfelt celebration with one's true love.
Now, without any further surprises, Raegan was ready to move on without delay. As she was about to speak, Mitchel interrupted her.
âOkay. Mom, take it easy. Weâll visit you again soon.â
Luciana paused, spotting Mitchel's "V" sign behind her, and muttered, "Smart boy, you've got plans..."
Feeling comfortable, Luciana relaxed, content to await her official title as grandmother.
Raegan was roughly pushed aside by Mitchel. She hadn't even answered when he hurried her away.
Outside Luciana's living room, Janey and Annis were nowhere to be seen. Raegan was about to call them when Mitchel stepped in and explained, âJaney was falling asleep, so I had Matteo take them first.â
Raegan simply replied, âOh.â Then she put the phone in her pocket and thought nothing else. But as they drove, she began to wonder why Mitchel hadn't let her talk.
Suddenly, the car stopped.
Mitchel asked, âWould you like some coffee? There's a coffee shop over there. Would you like to try some?â
Raegan glanced at the shop, which advertised her old favorite coffee, which she had avoided since she started breastfeeding. Hesitantly, she turned to Mitchel and asked, âCan I have something?â
"Of course."
Mitchel, leaning on his crutch, helped Raegan out of the car and into the store. After getting her coffee, he led her to a park bench where they sat down to sip their drinks.
Raegan was overwhelmed with joy at that moment.
When they finished their drinks, Mitchel turned to her. âDo you want to take a walk in the park?â
Raegan nodded and they held hands as they walked through the park.
Without realizing it, they entered a sea of ââflowers.
Thousands of red roses formed a heart-shaped arrangement in the middle of the park, with Raegan and Mitchel right in the center.
Raegan's jaw dropped. "These flowers are beautiful," she commented.
Mitchel, looking at her with deep affection, smiled and replied: "As long as they make you happy."
Before Raegan could respond, Mitchel suddenly dropped his crutch, slowly knelt down, and presented a ring box, opening it to reveal a sparkling diamond ring. âRaegan, will you marry me?â
