Chapter 1165

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1165:

? ? ? ? ?

However, when Raegan discovered that Luciana was aware that Mitchel was not her biological son, yet loved him dearly, her respect for Luciana grew.

Furthermore, although Luciana could be sharp-tongued, she had not committed any serious offenses.

Luciana later fell for a time under Katie's manipulative influence and distanced herself from Mitchel, which cast a shadow over her later years.

However, upon regaining her senses, despite knowing the risk of Likely falling into danger amid Katie's plans, Luciana managed to rescue Raegan and Janey, demonstrating her deep remorse through her selfless acts.

Raegan, not one to hold grudges, saw in this act a clear sign of Luciana's regret, so she found it impossible to stay out of it.

Now that Luciana was on her feet, it was the perfect time to bring her children to visit her. After all, Luciana was their grandmother.

Casey was still a little distracted, but she managed to catch up with Raegan from time to time.

Although many memories had faded for her, Casey remembered Hector vividly and chose to leave with him.

Raegan was struck by the contrast between Casey's disdain for Davey and her trust in Hector. It had to be genuine.

Hector's subsequent revelation was shocking. The son he had raised, Bryce, was actually Raegan's biological brother. Only Raegan and Bryce were the result of Davey rapping Casey after holding her captive.

Bryce proposed that he and Hector take Casey back to Ardlens to take care of her. Landen and Erick supported the idea. Their goal was united in ensuring Casey's happiness. Ardlens was not a foreign land and they could visit it whenever they wanted.

And most importantly, Casey was on board with the idea.

When Raegan was consulted, she also gave her approval. Casey, now without her memories of being held captive by Davey for decades due to shock, seemed much happier.

Raegan silently hoped that her mother would never get back those horrible days of her and Davey. It was better for her to continue living happily.

As for Bryce and Hector, Raegan held them in high regard. As Erick had pointed out, they were welcome to visit Casey whenever they wanted.

Police representatives later visited Raegan in the hospital.

They thanked him for his help in stopping Davey, an international criminal involved in murder, manipulation of officials and international trafficking of secrets.

With a coordinated effort, the police had managed to round up all of Davey's criminals and their associates.

As for Davey's ashes, with no one to claim them and Bryce refusing to lay eyes on anything related to Davey, Raegan requested that the police scatter them at sea.

After getting everything sorted out here, Erick began to prepare for the trip back to his home country.

Raegan and Mitchel visited Luciana at the sanatorium where she was recovering. This time they only brought Janey.

The twin babies were still too small and fragile to be taken outside, so they decided to wait and have Luciana join them at home later.

As soon as Janey saw Luciana, she ran to her and hugged her, exclaiming: "Grandma, are you feeling better?"

The sweetness in Janey's voice brought tears to Luciana's eyes. Her voice cracking, she replied, “I’m fine. You're such a good girl…”
