Chapter 1156
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1156:

Davey chuckled. âRaegan, you really don't get it, do you? âThings never go well for anyone who crosses me.â
âWhy would I want to understand you?â Raegan responded with disdain. âYou keep us here against our will and then accuse us of treason for trying to escape?â
Davey's expression immediately darkened, his lips curling as he warned, "Raegan, if I were you, I'd think twice about making you angry."
Raegan sneered, âMr. Glyn, your reasoning is an insult to common sense everywhere. âI am not afraid of you.â
Davey evaluated Raegan for a moment and offered a thin smile. âJust be prepared to face the consequences.â
âSo what? You plan to kill me? âItâs not like this is the first time,â Raegan replied defiantly. âWhat is this now, the fourth time? Or maybe the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth?â
As Davey's face grew even colder, Raegan continued on with her own thing. âYou've been after me for years for Katie. Katie is just as twisted as you are. âYou two are the perfect couple.â
Losing patience, Davey stepped closer. âRaegan, tell me where Casey is now, and maybe Iâll spare your life.â
As Davey approached, Raegan grabbed a bat hidden behind her and hit him.
But this time he was unsuccessful. Davey was prepared and caught the bat in his hands, holding it tightly.
Raegan struggled to free him, but couldn't.
At the same time, Davey's other hand was already around Raegan's throat. He pushed her against the only windowsill in the attic.
Struggling to breathe, Raegan clung to the window frame, terrified of falling.
The attic was several meters above the ground. A fall from that height could leave her paralyzed or even killed.
Anger flared in Davey's eyes, and he looked ready to finish Raegan off. In his eyes, Raegan was no longer his daughter, although he had once thought of reconciling.
Raegan's decision to take Casey was a step too far for Davey.
For him, whoever it was didn't matter. Even his own blood had to be paid for with his life.
Seeing Raeganâs lips pressed tightly together, refusing to speak, Davey sneered, âYouâre not going to talk, huh?â His eyes filled with hostility, his grip tightening. âIt seems like you really want to die.â
With those words, he pushed Raegan away and her body half-jumped over the windowsill.
"Stop!" Suddenly, a loud shout came from below.
Hanging upside down, Raegan felt the blood rush to her head and her vision began to fade. Struggling to open her eyes, she saw that the person below was Erick. Erick had arrived.
Davey, who had hurriedly left with only four bodyguards, was quickly overwhelmed by Erick's people.
Davey looked out and, seeing Erick, said with a satisfied smile: "What a day, all the people who deserve to die have been shown up."
"Maniac, let go of my sister or I swear I'll kill you!" Erick shouted.
