Chapter 1155
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1155:

Raegan looked back at Casey, who was staring out the window, captivated by the view of the blue sea and islands.
Deciding what to do next, Raegan called out, âMom.â
Casey, realizing they were addressing her, turned to Raegan.
With a smile, Raegan said, âLetâs play a gameâ¦â
As Davey was speeding in a car, his bodyguard at the wheel spotted the black car driven by Raegan. He quickly stopped and announced, âSir, itâs right ahead.â
Davey stepped out of the car with a leisurely stride and approached the now empty car.
He let out a cold chuckle, expecting Raegan to ignore his warnings. His hands balled into fists, knuckles cracking, as he considered the punishment he would inflict upon her when he caught her. Should he incapacitate her with a slash to her tendons, or silence her with poison?
Since Raegan would likely convince Casey to leave, Davey considered doing both once Raegan was captured. He would first cut her tendons and then poison her.
Davey ordered his bodyguards to search the surroundings as he reflected on tampering with the car's electrical system minutes earlier. They couldn't have gotten very far in just fifteen minutes.
After a while, the bodyguard returned with news. âMr. Glyn, there is an abandoned church up ahead.â
Given the lack of other clues, Raegan and Casey were likely hiding there.
Davey walked up to the church and folded his hands in a quick prayer.
"Lord, please forgive me."
With a wave of his hand, he ordered, âLet the search begin!â
Four muscular bodyguards immediately dispersed.
After a thorough search, one of the bodyguards reported that the only thing left to explore was the attic, the door to which was locked.
Davey gave a small smile. âLeave this to me.â
He kicked open the attic door and found Raegan inside.
Davey signaled to his bodyguards. âStay down and secure the area.â
âYes, sir,â they responded in unison.
Two took up positions on the stairs, while the other two remained by the door.
Entering the attic, Davey, noticing Casey's absence, asked, "Raegan, where's my Casey?"
Raegan stood defiantly, her smile unwavering. âMr. Glyn, you speak of âyour Caseyâ with such affection, as if you hadnât taken my mother from me.â
She no longer felt the urge to address him with respect, her contempt for him was deep and evident.
