Chapter 1150
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1150:

Despite the disparity in their heights, Davey's slightly hunched posture left him vulnerable to Raegan's sudden attack.
The makeshift weapon found its target with chilling precision, piercing Davey's flesh with chilling ease.
A trickle of crimson blood began to flow from the wound, staining the pristine surface of the weapon's handle.
The air cracked with tension as Raegan watched the blood flow, her heart pounding with adrenaline-charged intensity. But as the reality of the situation dawned on her, she realized her miscalculation.
The absence of a bleeding artery confirmed his mistake. The wound, although serious, would not be fatal.
Davey's hand instinctively went to his neck, his fingers staining the vivid hue of fresh blood. With an almost disconcerting composure, he looked back at Raegan, his expression one of steely determination.
âAre you trying to kill me?â His voice remained eerily calm, and his dark eyes bore into hers, unreadable and impenetrable, like the still depths of the Dead Sea, betraying no hint of emotion or vulnerability.
As Raegan cautiously distanced herself from Davey, her voice ranged with defiant conviction. âSomeone will come soon to rescue my mother and me. Donât think you can escape this.â
Davey's response was unsurprising. "Have you established contact with the outside world?"
Raegan reasoned that Davey's keen intellect had probably already discerned her covered efforts. Otherwise, she wouldn't have dared confront him openly. She would have maintained the facade of compliance.
Davey, unfazed by the sharp implement lodged in his neck, looked at Raegan with a mix of admiration and amusement. âNot bad. You really are my daughter. âPretty brave.â
Raegan's frown betrayed her confusion at his cryptic comment.
She couldn't believe that the clever man hadn't already seen the proof of paternity. He must have been aware that she was not his descendant.
Seeing her puzzled expression, Davey suddenly burst out laughing.
âIt seems like you were kidding me, butâ¦â
He bent down to retrieve the report that was lying on the floor, offering it to her with a solemn declaration. âIt seems you were right all along. âYou really are my daughter.â
Raegan was speechless. She stood there, stunned, as if she couldn't trust her own ears.
Yet there it was, written in black and white on the paternity test, a staggering 99.99% match. How was that possible? She had only said it in desperation, to save her skin. And yet, reality had taken a sharp turn, turning her bluff into truth.
She was, undeniably, Davey's offspring! Davey, who had tried to end her life on numerous occasions, was now revealed to be her biological father.
As Davey approached, Raegan's voice pierced the air with a sudden command. âStop!â
He felt himself losing his grip on reality, defensively raising a chair as a barrier. âDon't you dare take another step!â
Davey paused, an enigmatic smile playing on his lips. âRaegan, things between us have changed, and it's time you started accepting that.â
He has firmly stated: "I am your biological father."
"To hell with you being my father!" Raegan couldn't contain her contemplation.
