Chapter 1125:

Luckily, Erick, always diligent despite his busy schedule, made it a routine to call Raegan every night to confirm her safety.
That particular night, when work was running late, Erick thought about calling Raegan, but hesitated, afraid she was already asleep.
He has opted to text Raegan and summarized his duties.
She turned her attention back to the upcoming baby shower, which was just a few days away.
To delay Davey or capture him if necessary, extensive planning and coordination was required at the event site.
Erick reviewed the design plans he had repeatedly examined, looking for any details he had missed. By the time he put the plans away, it was almost midnight. He checked his phone again, but received no response from Raegan. Assuming she was sleeping, he went to freshen up.
After his shower, a persistent malaise plagued him. Erick decided to call Raegan's house.
The phone rang repeatedly before someone finally picked it up.
Victor and Judd had taken it upon themselves to escort Raegan's babies to Ardlens, leaving only a few servants and bodyguards hidden in vehicles outside and in the villa.
âHello, who is it?â a sleepy servant asked over the phone.
Erick frowned, noticing the servant's deep sleep. "I'm Erick. Is Raegan asleep?"
Normally, Erick only needed to announce his name, as everyone in the village recognized him as Raegan's brother.
Wiping the sleep from her eyes, the maid replied, âI'm not sure. Miss hasnât been seen much today.â
Haven't you seen her? Erick's anxiety was growing. Without the babies, Raegan had no reason to remain confined to her room all day. âGo see her right now and report back to me immediately,â he ordered sharply, his tone stern.
Shaken by his urgency, the servant quickly replied, âRight away, sir!â
When the servant started to hang up, Erick firmly intervened: âDon't hang up. âIâll wait.â
âOkay.â Putting the phone aside, the servant hurried off to Raegan's room.
Minutes later, the servant's quick steps returned to the telephone.
Erick's anxiety increased with every passing second.
Catching her breath, the maid reported, âMr. Foster, I knocked on the young ladyâs room, but she didnât answer.â
Erick's concern grew. Raegan's bedroom was usually restricted to keep the babies' departure confidential. But it usually responded to a knock. The lack of response confirmed that Raegan wasn't there. Where had she gone?
As worry set in, Erick ended the call and ran to Raegan's house, driven by a growing sense of alarm.
After Raegan's previous fainting spell, she had left Erick a spare key for emergencies.
Opening the door, Erick found the room deserted, the bed perfectly made, a sign that Raegan had not returned.
