Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1109:

"No need!" With a dismissive wave of his hand, the husband could not hide his impatience. "You, come here and beat these two for me!"
The driver, visibly shocked, hesitated. Violence was something new for him. âSir, this is a public place. Could there be some misunderstanding? Maybe we should discuss it firstâ¦â
Before the driver could finish, a shoe hit his face with a resounding slap!
"Do as I say, you fool! What are these questions for?"
The force of the thick-soled shoe caused the driver's mouth to bleed.
âDad!â From a corner, previously unnoticed, Chasen ran to the gray-haired driver and hugged him, crying. âDad, why does he hit you? You always told me that I respected you. Didnât you?â
Despite facing blows and harsh words just to get by, the driver was determined to sow seeds of virtue in his son's heart. So, he made up stories about his superior, who held him in high regard, and about a job that was a piece of cake, all to keep his son's mind free from worries. His efforts paid off, as his son grew up with a strong backbone of integrity and a compass that always pointed to the right thing.
Raised with a strong moral compass, Chasen faced her husband with determined eyes and said, âSir, it is wrong to hit my father without reason, you were right to question a wrong order.â
Chasen stood his ground and declared, âI hope you apologize for hitting him!â
What answered his request was a flying shoe, aimed at Chasen's head.
Witnessing the threat, the driver instinctively protected his son with his body, absorbing the brutal impact, although he kept him close, ensuring his son's safety.
The plump woman's husband bellowed at Chasen, âYou insolent brat, how dare you berate me! Your plump little thing crawls at my feet to do her work. And you expect me to apologize? Youâre nothing but a sewer rat, unworthy of her.â To Raegan, the unfolding scene was a stark revelation. The adage âbirds of a feather flock togetherâ couldn't be more evident with this family.
None of them showed an ounce of decency. They revered the powerful and despised the meek, without recognizing the "humanity" of their workers.
With no more shoes to throw, the plump woman's husband grabbed a rock, aiming it at the driver and his son.
âStop!â Raegan's voice thundered with fury.
The husband stopped and turned, his attention momentarily caught by Raegan's striking appearance.
Noticing her husband's gaze fixed on Raegan, the plump woman's irritation flared. She pulled hard at his ear and hissed, "What are you looking at?"
The husband hastily replied: "Nothing. I swear I didn't see anything."
Pushing her husband aside, the plump woman's gaze fixed on Raegan with venom. "You little slut, shamelessly flirting with any man!"
Raegan was speechless. She had done nothing, and now she was being accused of nothing.
The plump woman's husband stared at Raegan and sneered, "She's really pretty, isn't she? Those baggy clothes can't hide her figure⦠Damn! She's got a lot of curves in all the right places."
Outraged, the plump woman pricked her husband and scolded him: âDo you still have your eyes on that temptress? Do you want me to blind you?â
âNo, no, you have got it all wrong, my dear!â Her husband quickly replied: âI thought I had my eye on Korbin. You remember him, don't you? âHe always goes after women who are a mixture of innocence and charm.â
Korbin was a partner in their shady dealings, in which they blatantly exchanged favors using unsuspecting women, even resorting to blackmail with secretly filmed videos.
Hearing her husband's suggestion, the plump woman's face twisted into a wicked smile. "Perfect, we'll send her to Korbin."
