Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1093:

In an icy tone, Mitchel dismissed her attempts to intervene.

"Then stay out of it. I won't hesitate to beat you up with it!"

Erick felt a lump form in his throat.

When Mitchel raised his fist once more, Erick could no longer remain silent. “Stop! It's not Stefan's fault. “He didn’t even stay a single night with Raegan.”

Finally, Erick revealed the truth.

Mitchel's fist froze in midair, inches from Stefan's face.

Gently grabbing Mitchel's hand, Erick leaned towards him and told him the whole story.

For what seemed like an eternity, Mitchel sat motionless, absorbing the theory. The weight of it all demanded contemplation, and he fell silent, lost in thought.

Erick, sensing her confusion, ventured, “Raegan didn't tell you. Maybe she had her reasons. For now, let's play along. When she’s ready, she’ll tell us.”

Slowly rising from the ground, Stefan, his face marked by bruises, acknowledged his own guilt in Raegan's plight. “I am responsible for Raegan’s situation,” he confessed, bracing himself for another barrage of punches.

"Now that the truth is out, let's settle this fairly. I want Raegan and I won't give up without a fight." Stefan refused to compromise on his love for Raegan, no matter what the cost.

As Stefan made his way to the hospital, he felt as if his own soul was drifting away on the wind. Raegan had become entwined with his being. Her every movement made him anxious.

Mitchel's gaze turned icy as he dismissed Stefan's statement. “You're not worthy.”

Just then, the doctor emerged again, a smile lighting up his face. “Two healthy children. Come and see for yourself.”

Mitchel stood up quickly. “And Raegan?”

"She is stable. We are lucky that she arrived in time. But we will have to monitor her for a while," the doctor reassured.

Relief washed over the group as they waited for Raegan to appear.

However, when the three men stood at the threshold of the delivery room, none of them dared to approach the newborns.

The doctor, growing increasingly impatient, reminded them: "Who will take the babies?"

Mitchel remained rooted to the spot, steadfast in his vigil for Raegan.

The doctor was speechless. The twins were adorable, but no one seemed willing to hold them.

With a glance at Mitchel's motionless figure, Erick sighed. "I'll do it."

After all, with Mitchel standing guard, he felt at ease about Raegan's well-being.

Even when Erick pulled out the stroller, Mitchel didn't dare to take a look at the babies. Until Raegan was safely at his side, his worries would linger.
