Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1090:

"I detected movement on your phone signal, but then it disappeared."

“What phone sign?” Erick's eyes widened. “You've been monitoring your phone?” he exclaimed, a mix of shock and anger coloring his face.

Mitchel was quick to defend himself. “I'm just looking out for her safety, especially in her delicate condition. I’m just following her whereabouts, nothing more.”

“You had no right!” The confession only fueled Erick's anger. He couldn't believe it! How could Mitchel invade Raegan's privacy like that? What was eating away at him was that he hadn't even realized Mitchel had done it.

Then Erick realized that Mitchel had been keeping watch, even in the middle of the night. Had Mitchel been unable to sleep, consumed by worry for Raegan's well-being?

“Take it off immediately!” Erick demanded.

Mitchel hesitated. It was obvious he didn't want to do this. "I promise I will when I'm away from Aurora. But for now, please go check on her."

With a determined nod, Erick headed toward Raegan's room.

“I'll be back shortly. And by the time I get back, that surveillance software should be gone,” Erick warned with a low growl. “And don't move. No one must disturb the young couple.”

Mitchel stood frozen without saying a word.

Erick walked through the halls, calling out when he reached Reagan's room. “Raegan? “Raegan?”

The repeated calls only revealed his growing anxiety. “Raegan… Are you there?”

A change in Mitchel's expression indicated that he was ready to intervene.

However, the servant, attentive to Erick's instructions, intercepted him. "Sir, please wait a moment."

“Out of my way.” Mitchel's icy gaze pierced the air, chilling the servant to the bone.

Mitchel brushed past the servant, leaving him still recovering.

The servant struggled to keep up. “Sir, you cannot…”

Mitchel's gait, hampered by his injured leg, betrayed his urgency, which was made especially worse by the rain.

Sensing Mitchel's apparent weakness, the servant reached out to help him, only to be repelled by Mitchel's crutch, leaving him lying on the ground.

Mitchel harbored no ill will toward the servant, only a fervent desire to reach Raegan's room. I wanted to get there as quickly as possible. However, his frustration grew as he cleaned more and more slowly.

As they approached Raegan's room, Mitchel intervened just as Erick was about to kick open the door. His authoritative command stopped Erick dead in his tracks.

Erick, bewildered, gave in to Mitchel.

“What if Raegan is on the other side?” Mitchel said.

Erick hesitated, his foot poised on the door frame.
