Chapter 1085

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1085:

? ? ? ? ?

Such behavior might not be honorable. But when it came to emotional matters, everyone could be selfish.

Stefan felt like that was the only despicable thing he had ever done.

Raegan's weak point was her inability to turn down those who were kind to her, especially when Stefan phrased his request so effectively.

To Raegan, after Stefan made his case, any outright rejection on his part would seem cold and unappreciative, so she simply nodded silently, implicitly accepting his suggestion.

Being pregnant had left Raegan with little energy for additional worries.

In the park, where ice cream vendors dotted the landscape, Raegan was drawn to one stand in particular.

Noting her interest, Stefan commented that despite Aurora's persistent cold, the appeal of ice cream had not waned.

In the midst of her pregnancy, Raegan was no longer as cautious about her diet as she once was.

“Want some?” Stefan asked, watching her gaze.

Raegan's eyes lit up at the suggestion. The ice cream here was unique, especially with their beloved vanilla sauce on top.

Aurora loved vanilla sauce, a local favorite that Raegan could never get enough of. She hadn't had ice cream since she got pregnant, and now, eight months later, her cravings were intense.

However, I paused and asked, “Can I have something?”

Her words were cautious, but her eyes were sincerely seeking Stefan's approval. Her hopeful gaze could melt even the harshest of demeanors.

Stefan looked at her briefly and comforted her: “The doctor told me that you have no dietary restrictions this month. You can indulge yourself. It is wiser now than after the baby is born, when you will have to abstain.”

Postpartum confinement might do Raegan good for her recovery, given her condition.

“I’ll go for a smaller serving with less topping,” Stefan said.

This greatly eased Raegan's guilt.

Stefan led her to a bench, handed her a handkerchief to sit on, and smiled. “Wait here. “I’ll be right back.”

The line at the ice cream stand was long, and Stefan, being a true gentleman, waited patiently for his turn without skipping it to avoid any mishaps with Raegan. He waited patiently for his turn.

Meanwhile, Raegan sat enjoying the nice weather and soft sunlight, eagerly awaiting her ice cream with her eyes closed.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed.

Raegan frowned, suspecting that clouds might be forming.

When she opened her eyes, an elegantly dressed man stood before her, blocking out the sun completely.

Raegan was surprised to see Mitchel in the park, especially in her disoriented state due to her pregnancy. Stefan, used to seeing her frequently, was unfazed by her casual attitude. Her immediate concern was whether Mitchel now saw her as disheveled.
