Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1080:

Raegan playfully replied, “Thanks to you, too.”

Raegan's response that she would think about what he had said made Stefan feel joyful, almost overflowing with happiness.

When they left the restaurant, it started snowing again.

Aurora was lovely, but it was bitterly cold. Raegan had to bundle up whenever she went outside.

Stefan helped her put on her fluffy gloves and held her hand as they walked.

The streets were lively tonight, and holding hands helped them avoid getting hit.

But Raegan suddenly saw the familiar figure in the distance again. That unmistakable silhouette made her momentarily think it was Mitchel.

Stefan noticed her sudden distraction and followed her gaze, quickly understanding the situation. Sure enough, the figure resembled Mitchel.

However, Raegan quickly recovered and tugged on Stefan's hand, urging, "Come on."

Stefan had briefly considered reaching out to the figure, not out of altruism, but because he recognized that Raegan and Mitchel's past was a reality that couldn't be ignored indefinitely.

Addressing it as soon as possible seemed prudent, since Mitchel was the father of Raegan's children. Avoiding Mitchel forever was not an option. Her plan was to acclimate to the situation gradually, so that interactions regarding the children in the future would not be awkward.

But Raegan's direction dismissed his thoughts, and he simply agreed. "Okay, let's go."

On the way back, Raegan looked dejected, probably upset by her repeated misidentifications. She didn't understand why she kept thinking about Mitchel.

Arriving home, Stefan walked Raegan to the gates of the mansion and handed her a packet of sleep-inducing herbal incense.

He explained that it had been recommended to him by the elders of his clan, who followed ancient health regimes. It was reputed to be very effective in initiating sleep and safe for pregnant women.

After confirming with Raegan's doctor that it was safe, Stefan handed it over to her.

Raegan's sleep had deteriorated as her pregnancy progressed, resulting in noticeable dark circles under her eyes that Stefan had noticed.

Raegan gratefully accepted the incense, thanked Stefan, and headed inside, intending to check on her brother first.

But as he entered the hall, the bundle of herbs suddenly slipped from his grasp and fell to the floor with a thud.

Entering the room, Raegan was met by a familiar figure.

It was Mitchel, still as tall and handsome as ever. And when he turned his head and looked at Raegan, his eyes sparkled like the stars in the night sky.

Raegan stared at him in a daze. She had imagined his presence everywhere tonight. She hadn't expected it to come true.

After staring for a moment, Raegan turned around, intending to leave.

Her mind was a whirlwind of questions. Why had he come? Wasn't he hurt? Had his legs recovered? However, she saw no cane beside him. Had he really recovered? Or had he just come to see her, even though he hadn't fully recovered yet?
