He was experiencing the subtle sensation of slowly forgetting someone. This gradual disappearance was not painful, but it occasionally gave him a pang in his heart, like when he glimpsed a figure on the street that reminded him of him.

By the time they reached the restaurant, Raegan had begun to sweat lightly.

Stefan kindly offered him a napkin to wipe his forehead before sitting down at a table laden with seafood platters.

Some of the dishes, especially those with shells, were difficult to handle, so Stefan helped her by peeling several shrimp and quickly adding more to her plate.

Seeing Raegan enjoying her food and looking happy made Stefan smile.

After thinking for a moment, he decided to express his feelings.

"Raegan, after spending this time together, I've realized that my feelings for you have gone from simple affection to true love."
