Chapter 1075
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
Chapter 1075:

However, their joy was short-lived as harsh reality set in. How could they search Davey's villa?
Aurora was a unique place, and even in Ardlens, the law was clear.
Without solid evidence and a search warrant, they couldn't just barge into a suspect's home, no matter how suspicious the circumstances. Not to mention the wilds of Aurora, where nobles had the right to kill anyone who trespassed on their property, a law that gave them absolute protection and control.
If they attempted to enter Davey's villa, a deadly shootout would almost certainly dream, and the consequences would be dire and unpredictable.
Davey's force was a force to be reckoned with, backed by a formidable army of highly trained and fiercely loyal elite soldiers who would stop at nothing to do his bidding.
In Aurora, firearms and ammunition were unrestricted, and the nobles' arsenals rivaled that of a police station.
Fighting the Aurora nobles with firearms was a losing battle, as well as a dangerous one. It would be little less than suicide.
After careful deliberation, they came to the conclusion that cunning and intelligence were their only weapons. They had to devise a cunning ruse to lure Davey away from his villa, and then use the opportunity to sneak in unseen, conducting a stealthy search for clues while Davey was away.
However, this plan was equally precarious. Davey's acceptance of the invitation was far from guaranteed, and even if he took the bait, the loyal guards stationed at his villa would present a formidable obstacle.
Furthermore, Erick's current physical condition was too fragile to allow him to participate in such strenuous activities, rendering him temporarily incapable of acting.
Raegan and Erick were forced to put their plans on hold, but it was only a temporary setback. When Landen found out, he felt totally helpless and frustrated, unable to do anything to help.
Landen had wanted to rescue Casey, but his own fragile health, worn down by years of illness and dependence on drugs and supplements, had left him weak, a constant reminder that he was no longer able to save her.
The rules for outsiders entering the Aurora were very strict. Only a few people were allowed in, but a large group would almost certainly be turned away.
But then, a name came to Landen's mind, someone who might be willing to help.
Landen told Raegan and Erick to find Hector, who had a lot of contacts from his years overseas. If it came to saving Casey, Hector would probably be willing to lend a hand.
Raegan was unaware of the intricate web of relationships between her mother and those men, and the complex history that united them.
Given Casey's captivating charm and grace, it was only natural that she would attract the attention of many admirers.
Raegan inherited Casey's beauty, but sometimes felt it was more of a burden than a gift. Casey's life served as a vivid illustration of this same principle. They remained unsure of her whereabouts and circumstances.
By the time they contacted Hector, he had already arrived in Aurora, having traveled at the fastest speed possible. His extensive international network and considerable influence effortlessly navigated the complex entry protocols, facilitating a smooth arrival.
The next morning, Hector had already arrived at the Clifford family mansion, surprising Raegan with his quick arrival. Stefan was absent, who nearly blew their cover as newlyweds.
Luckily, Hector was focused on Casey's situation and didn't wonder why Raegan and Stefan weren't rooming together like newlyweds, saving them from an awkward explanation.
Once Erick had shared all the clues about Casey's whereabouts, Hector vanished into thin air.
Three days passed before Hector reappeared. He rejoined Erick and the others and announced, âIâve explored that villa and everything seems fine. Davey appears to be the only occupant, with no signs of a woman or her belongings.â
Erick and Raegan stood speechless, their faces frozen in shock and disbelief. It seemed unlikely. If someone had really been there, wouldn't there be any clues, any hints, anything at all?
