Chapter 1065
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

The driver immediately turned the car around, taking a new direction.
Casey didn't really want to meet Jimena. She was afraid it might arouse Davey's suspicions. But the detour presented an opportunity, as the new route would pass by a few other cars, indicating that she wasn't completely isolated.
Casey looked outside and suddenly pulled out a sharp fork, pressed it against Davey's throat, and yelled at the driver, "Stop the car!"
The tip of the fork was sharp, and with gentle pressure, it drew blood from Davey's neck.
Frightened by the threat, the driver slammed on the brakes, causing the car to come to an abrupt stop.
The force of the abrupt stop drove the pitchfork deeper into Davey's skin, releasing a fine mist of blood that splashed outrageously across Casey's face.
âMaâam, please think this over carefullyâ¦â the driver stammered, trying to persuade Casey.
âOpen the doors!â Casey ordered the driver.
But the driver looked at Davey, waiting for his nod before unlocking the doors, unsure without his approval.
Seeing no immediate response, Casey tightened her grip on the fork, causing the trickle of blood to widen into a more substantial flow.
The situation seemed dangerously serious.
Davey, the target of the threat, however, showed no emotion, as if he were not the one in danger. He asked in a calm voice, âCasey, do you really want to get out of the car?â
Desperate to escape, especially since they were near a small flea market, Casey thought she might find help once she was out of the car.
He figured that with the many shops and passersby present, Davey wouldn't risk a kidnapping in such a public place. Any confrontation would surely draw the attention of the local authorities.
As innocent as she was, Casey figured that if she went to the authorities, she could get in touch with the Clifford family and reunite with her daughter. She was determined to finally free herself from Davey's clutches.
Anger flashed in Casey's eyes as he declared, "Davey, you either let me out now or you're not getting this. Make up your mind."
Even though she was tempted to hurt him at the moment, Casey needed to see her daughter. Even if Davey deserved punishment, it wasn't his place to get out the punishment. That would be up to the courts to decide. She had been his captive for years. Committing murder and risking her chance to be reunited with her children was not an option.
âCasey, you're always so impulsive,â Davey observed, his demeanor disturbingly calm.
âEnough, Davey! You're running out of time. âYou will face the consequences of your actions.â
âCasey, haven't I always treated you right? Who else in this world loves you as much as I do?â Davey looked genuinely confused, âEven your once devoted âguardâ has started a family, and yet here I am, still waiting for you. Why do you always want to run away?â
Casey immediately understood who Davey was referring to. Surprised, she pressed him urgently: âHector has a son?â
"Forks! âShe turned her back on you a long time ago!â Davey had always harbored a strong dislike for Hector. He believed that without Hector's interference, Casey would never have left him and married Landen.
However, the fact that Hector had gained nothing from his actions gave Davey satisfaction.
Now that Hector had a son, Davey wanted Casey to understand that it was he who truly loved her. âThat boy is already in his twenties! Casey, his love for you is fickle. Don't you see? âIâm the one who loves you the most!â
