"Mr. Dixon, what specific footage are you looking for? Do you want me to help you find it? Matteo offered, worried that Mitchel would hurt his eyes after staring at the computer screen for too long.
«No, it's okay. "I can do it myself."
After making sure Mitchel didn't need anything else, Matteo left the room. Mitchel inserted the USB drive into his laptop and checked the videos.
Fast forward into the night, Mitchel finally caught a glimpse of Raegan's figure after midnight. He didn't come every night. He appeared every two or three nights. And he would stay around his living room for at least an hour.
Another angle suggested that it did not fit into his pavilion. Instead, he stayed in front of the window for a long time. Maybe that's why he didn't come every night. Standing there for a long time must have taken its toll on the body.
When Raegan looked at him through the glass, she was especially focused. Then he put his hands together and closed his eyes.
She must have been praying for him silently.
Mitchel fast-forwarded to the night before she left. This time was the time he stayed there the longest.
In the surveillance footage, Raegan had her back to the camera, so Mitchel couldn't see her face. But you could see his shoulders moving. Obviously, he was crying.
Was he crying? Because? Mitchel watched her come and go repeatedly.
And the more he watched her, the more his eyebrows furrowed.
The next day, at the Dixon Group's private airstrip.
Inside the luxurious cabin, Bryce was sitting in his seat with an impatient expression on his face. He asked, "Hasn't Mitchel arrived yet?"
The plane staff apologized: "I'm sorry, Mr. Dixon. "It hasn't arrived yet."
«And your phone? Are you still unable to communicate? Bryce probed.
"We are still unable to communicate at this time."
Bryce frowned. «Call him one last time. If you don't answer, I won't wait for you anymore.
The staff called again. But still no one answered.
Bryce became anxious. «I'll call my dad. âThen we will leave.â
Bryce called Hector and immediately complained. «Dad, can you believe there is someone like Mitchel? I had been waiting for him for almost two hours, but he didn't show up. "He didn't even bother to tell me."
"Did you call him?" Hector asked from the other end of the line.
"I called, but no one answered," Bryce said, his voice tinged with frustration. «I don't care if Mitchel comes with me or not. I'm leaving right now. "I don't want to miss Raegan's wedding."
«Okay, go ahead. Let me know when you land,â Héctor replied.
After hanging up, Bryce continued to look out the plane window for a long time, waiting for Mitchel.
