Chapter 17

Katherine's pov

I smiled at Daniel as he set me down. He kisses me on the lips and his dad walked over "are we ready" he said Daniel and I nodded "okay let's start then" Jackson walked out onto the porch "can I have everyone's attention" alpha Jackson said "we are here tonight because my son and his mate will be taking the rolls of alpha and luna" the pack cheered "now here they are" Daniel and I walked out onto the porch. The pack cheered but a few girls didn't.

First Daniel receives his alpha powers "do you Daniel except the responsibilities of an alpha" Jackson "I do" replayed Daniel "do you promise to put your pack first and to protect them" "I do" then there was a flash of light coming from the moon that bathed Daniel and gave him the powers of an alpha. Now it was my turn Cindy started speaking "do you Katherine except the responsibilities of a luna" she said "i do" "do you promise to put your pack fist and to always protect them" she said "I do" then something strange happened the light that transfers the Luna's powers to the next luna of the pack was pink usually it's white. Everyone was astonished and watching as it bathed me in the light not much happened other then me reviving my luna powers. But it's written in the book about the moon goddess that if a luna is bathed in a pink light it means she is chosen to be the next moon goddess when she dies that means I will revive more powers then I already have. I was shocked

Daniels pov

I was staring at my mate as the pink light bathed her. I couldn't believe it my mate is going to be the next moon goddess I was so happy for her. I love my mate and u can't wait to mark her as mine and mate her. She looked over at me the ceremony ended with us now being the official alpha and luna of the pack.

I picked her up Causing some giggles from her as she kisses my cheek. I carried her to our room with a huge smile. I laid her on the bed and she sat up looking at me with lust clear in her eyes that look as she licked her lips had list clouding my eyes. "Daniel?" She asked "mhm" I said "will you mark me" she asked I smiled huge and and nodded claiming onto the bed. I kisses her lips then her jaw then moved to her neck.

I kisses her neck teasing her lightly with my teeth causing her to moan my name I felt my pants tighten a little I bit down on her neck marking her as mine for forever she let out a small scream before passing out. Your probably wondering why I wasn't framing out but it's a normal reaction the bite takes a lot of energy from the mate and it tires them completely out.

I smiled pulling her to me and falling asleep next to my beautiful mate happily. I didn't care that we were still dressed up.

Katherine's pov

I woke up well sorta woke up oh whatever you call it when you wake up but really your still asleep "hello my child" said a soft female voice I looked around not seeing anyone "who's there" I asked this amazing field covered in white Lilly's appeared in front of me up on a hill sat the most beautiful white wolf I'd ever seen "who are you" I asked as I approached her "you know who I am child" was her reply "the moon goddess" I said she nodded that big wolfs head of hers.

She looked at me "I'm hear to warn you" she said I was suddenly scared "Luke the hunter that kidnapped you" I nodded I will never forget his face "he's making an army of hunters" she stated "there will be a war" she stated so causally I didn't talked waiting for to continue "the last four werecats are on there way to you" "after all you are there princess" I nodded almost forgetting my royal heritage. "With them you will be able to win this war" I nodded again letting the information sink in "now it's time for you to go and prepare for there arrival goodbye my child" she finished

I woke just as the first rays of sunlight fluttered into the room I turned to look at Daniel he was staring at me he reached over and moved some hair out of my face. I sighed remember my dream I shot up how long did I have before the last of my kind got her "honey? what's wrong" I heard Daniel I looked at him "I had a dream" I said he looked confused "the moon goddess was in it" he stares shocked at me waiting for me to continue "the rest of my kind are............." I stopped suddenly feeling a very strong emotion of fear but it was not mine I heard guards yelling outside and knew one oh my people were already here I was up on my feet and out the window in seconds scaring Daniel he followed with a shot of my name I ran to the commotion only to see a very frightened werecat surrounded by werewolfs in human form tell her to shift I was mad at them for treating her that way as I approached I could feel her fear ten times as strong.

"Luna stay back" one of the worriers telling Daniel had finally caught up to me he grabbed my hand and tried to pull me away I shuck him off and approached the scared werecat. "Hello....." I said softly as she looked up at me she whimpered "shhhh it's okay they are just trying to protect there family" I said simply seeing her relax "will you shift please" she nodded and shifted thankfully her cloths didn't shred "princess?" she asked I nodded my head confusing everyone but Daniel.

I smiles at her "you must be hungry come on" I said taking her hand and pulling her to the pack house once she was eating Daniel walked to me the young werecat growled as he approached me I shock my head at her an she stopped.

He looked questionably at me I sighed. "All the last werecats are on there way here" I said he looked confused as to how I knew "the moon goddess told me" realization came onto his face "why?" he asked I sighed knowing there was no way I couldn't tell him about Luke and the war. "Luke" he growled "he's making an army" I finished he growled again "there will be a war" I finished he sighed "I'll go tell the pack" I nodded as he walked away.

I sat at the table looking at the werecat in front of me she had hazel coloured hair paired with green eyes i smiled when she looked at me. She was unhealthily skinny my guess from running and covered in dirt and scratches. She was pretty.

"What your name?" I finally asked her looked at me "I'm Lilly princess" she said "no need to call me princess just Katherine will do" I said with a smile she nodded "how old are you?" I asked looking at face she couldn't be more then 16 "16" she said once she was done eating she had a shower and I asked one of the younger pack girls if she would lend her some cloths.

Once she was showered she was sitting in the kitchen smiling I was right she was pretty. "Feel better" I asked she nodded suddenly there was loud footsteps as the beta Jackson (a/no couldn't remember if I gave the beta a name if I did it well now it's Jackson :)) came running into the kitchen he looked at Lilly and she looked up at him then both saying at the same time "mate" I smiled happy for Lilly and Jackson (a/n also couldn't remember if I have him a mate :)). "Jackson this is Lilly" I said I trafficking her to him "Lilly this is Jackson the beta of the pack" she shyly said hello to him he smiled so big "will you be moving into Jackson's room then?" I asked Lilly "of course she is" Jackson spoke up making Lilly blush I smiled "well Jackson take your mate to your room and get to know her" I said he walked toward her and picked her up as Daniel walked in "Jackson?" he asked when he saw him carrying a giggling Lilly "there mates Daniel" I said simply he smiled at me "I'm happy for him"

He walked toward me swiftly sweeping me off my feet making me giggle I could see he was partly worried about the war coming up. But once I kissed him they disappeared. He carried me up to our room. He then laid me in the bed before crawling in beside me.

I climbed onto him so that I was on his lap he raised an eyebrow looking shocked at me as I pressed my lips to his he kissed me back eagerly. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance I playfully ignored his request. He growled and grabbed my ass thinking it would make me gasp it didn't so he tickled my sides and flipped us so he was on top carful not to crush me. The surprise when he flipped us made me gasp and he took advantage and slipped his tong into my mouth.

He switched to kissing my mark on the sighed of my neck effectively baking me moan. I felt his little friend react to my moan poking into my leg. I smirked knowing were this was going and having no intention of stoping him from completing the mating process.

I woke up to an empty bed feeling my face turn down into a frown from the fact that Daniel was not beside me. I got up and walked to the bathroom to shower smiling as I remembered last night. Daniel and I made love for the first time. I got out and pulled on a comfy navy blue sweater that belonged to Daniel and a pair of my ripped blue jeans I looked out the window to see it raining.

I walked downstairs wondering where my mate was. I walked past Jackson's room and heard Lilly giggling that made me smile. I also made a mental note to take her shopping later today. I walked to Daniels office and opened the door to see him hard at work. He looked up with a smile when he saw it was me. He got up and kissed me "I love you" he said I smiled "love you to"

"I want to take Lilly shopping she needs her own cloths the sooner the better" I said he nodded "I'll come and I'm sure Jackson will come to" I smiled before running off to Jackson's room and knocked on the door. He opened it "luna?" he asked I smiled "Lilly want to go shopping" I yelled over his shoulder I saw her light up "yes" she yelled "okay you two meet us downstairs" I said before heading downstairs myself.

Daniel was already there and not too long later Lilly and Jackson came down and we headed to the mall. Lilly and I say in the back. I could see us being close friends. We were talking quietly when I noticed a mark on her neck, Jackson has already marked her that was fast she noticed when I was starring and turned bright red making my laugh "congrats" I said she shyly smiled.

We walked into the mall were several girls checked out our mates making Lilly and I growl the boys just laughed before putting there arms around us making us smile and the other girls glare. I kissed Daniels cheek before dragging all of then into a store with cloths that looked more Lilly's style then mine.

She was my opposite I like badass kind of clothing as she liked the flower covered stuff preppy girl crap. I helped her pick a few items and she looked great in all of them. Jackson paid for her stuff and carried her bag. I dragged her to Victoria secret it was funny how the guys groaned at the the same time. They just handed us there credit cards and we went in.

I picked out a black lacy bra and a out of matching panties. I looked at Lilly she looked a little lost so I pulled her to the pink stuff and helped pick something out for Jackson we paid and walked out side to where the guys where they smiled once they spotted us.

Daniel and Jackson where carrying about 10 bags each Daniel carrying all my stuff and Jackson all of Lilly's stuff. Lilly and I had ran ahead to the food court as Daniel and Jackson slowly followed that was there mistake we ended up out of there sight.

A group of cute boys walked over to us there eyes shamelessly taking over our. "Why don't you girls come home with us" one I said I turned and glared at him Lilly stepped behind me I could tell she was scared that made my luna cat come out. "Come well show you a good time" one said advancing on us "how about no" I said flat and simply where the fuck was Daniel? I wondered Lilly stepped closer to me.

I looked back just as Daniel and Jackson were rounding the corner I wasn't paying attention as the one with really dark hair and blue eyes grabbed my arm "get off me "i said Daniel!!" at the sound of distress in my voice he was beside me in seconds "take your hand of my girl" he said the possessiveness clear in his voice and kinda turning me on. the guy let go and his friends scattered along with him.

Daniel warped his arms around me and we walked to a table Lilly holding onto Jackson for dear life I patted her shoulder. I was happy I had sleeves on or Daniel would see the bruises I could feel forming one thing werecats can heal broken bones fast but bruises they heal just like a humans would it's pretty annoying.

Daniel walked to get us pizza to share. I sighed as he walked back putting the food in front of us. We all eat and then took the bags to our car. We all got into the car I looked at the time wow it's six already.

Once we were home Daniel carried my bags to our room I hugged Lilly as Jackson picked her up and carried her off to there room with her giggling again. Daniel came back down and picked me up and took me to our room.

Once he closed the door he kissed me so passionately and tossed me into the bed before continuing what he started I think you see where this is going.

Daniels pov

I watch Katherine sleep her beautiful naked body pushed up against me I smiled happily. I'm so happy she let me mark her and mate with her. I could hear Jackson and Lilly doing what we just did. Stupid alpha hearing I'm still adjusting to it. I kissed Katherine's head. I wonder how many more werecats will show up here. Katherine will most likely never admit it but she's excited to meet more of her kind. Man I love this girl more then anything.

I can see her having my pups and growing old with me. Today at the mall is the first time I could actually feel the possessiveness I have for her it's stronger then before I think it's from becoming alpha officially. I wanted to rip that humans head off when he grabbed my mate the fear in her voice had me running to her. I kissed her head once more.

My mind wondered to Jackson and Lilly I'm happy he finally found his mate he's been searching for her for months. But are the odds that his mate and mine are werecats I wonder why the moon goddess paired them with us. My thought trail being interrupted by Katherine I felt her hand on my face the sparks feeling amazing.

"Why aren't you sleeping" she asked while yawning "just thinking instead" I said she softly smiled at me "about what?" "you and the future" I said she smiled "in happy I'll be apart of it" she whispered sleepily I smiled "me to, now sleep" I said to she snuggled into me again before falling back into her sleep world

I woke with a start I hadn't even realized that if fallen asleep I looked over to where Katherine should have been but she wasn't. I sat up looking around the room but she wasn't in sight "Katherine?" I said just as she walked into the room with a tray of food.

She looked at me and pouted "I was hoping you'd still be asleep" she said I gave her a small smile as she brought me the food "another werecat showed up toady" she said dropping that bomb pretty fast I smiled "really what's there name" i asked "his name is max" "and he found his mate in our pack" I loved the sound of our pack coming from her mouth "really?" I asked she nodded.

I finished eating and moved the tray onto the floor before pulling Katherine to me. She smiled I kisses her on the lips and the next thing I knew we were in a full heated make out session that progressed into another round of what happened last night.

I walked downstairs with Katherine happy as ever Jackson and Lilly gave us knowing looks wow we must have been load. I smiled at him as he gave me the thumbs up making Katherine blush so cute I kissed her cheek. To think all this happiness will be interrupted when the war happens in three days. My pack had been tracking Luke's progress and they estimate that they will be here in three days.

Hey guys sorry this took me a few days I wasn't really inspired I was unsure of what to write but I read another persons book and it inspired me with some new ideas and even make a longer chapter for you I'm going to try and write longer chapters for all of you hope you enjoy comment vote let me know what you think
