“Did the recording proceed smoothly?” Han Zhuoli took Lu Man’s luggage from her and held her hand.

“It went very smoothly. With Dad around, everyone was especially polite to us,” Lu Man said with a smile.

Han Zhuoli thought to himself, If I were there, those people would definitely have been even more polite.

They headed to the carpark and then sat in two separate cars.

Han Zhuoli said to Wang Juhuai and Xia Qingwei, “Dad, Mom, I’m bringing Lu Man along to meet some of my friends, so we won’t be heading home for dinner tonight.”

“Alright,” Xia Qingwei replied with a smile.

“Who are we meeting?” Lu Man asked Han Zhuoli in curiosity as she got into the car.

She already knew that group of Han Zhuoli’s close friends.

“Yan Zhiqing, Beicheng’s younger sister.” Han Zhuoli explained, “Previously, she had always been filming overseas, so I never had a chance to introduce you two to each other. She had just finished a shoot and came back, so Beicheng is planning to meet her. I remembered that both of you are actors, so I wanted to introduce you two to each other.”

Lu Man’s eyes lit up in surprise. “Yan Zhiqing!”

If she were to say who was the most successful artiste to make it internationally, Lu Man felt that it was definitely Yan Zhiqing.

Most of the media would say it was Cao Jingcheng, and that was because Cao Jingcheng had a lot of experience and had been working for many years in the international film scene.
