Chapter 593: Hero Pass
Flashy Adventurer System : Show Off to Get Stronger!
The tall brown-haired young man had a muscular physique, one that was equal to Shye.@@novelbin@@
Furthermore, Dinoa Parell was a well-known adventurer who had just moved beyond the rookie stage around two-and-a-half years ago, though his accomplishments at the same age as Shye were considerably less impressive.
This was the reason why the young man did not have a good impression of Shye. It was because Shye stole the limelight from him.
A few bright rookies came in after Dinoaâs admission, however, none of them managed to shake his position, except for the so-called most talented rookie in Valenziaâs history, Shye Crowley.
Regrettably, Dinoa couldnât challenge Shye to a duel right after Shyeâs admission to the main branch.
He had to bide his time, allowing the so-called most talented rookie to grow for a while before seizing the perfect moment to defeat him in a carefully orchestrated duel.
This would allow Dinoa to redeem himselfâat least in his own eyesâas the most promising talent of the Ravenâs Blade Adventurer Guild, which had risen from sixteenth to tenth in rank.
Shyeâs rapid ascent was a constant irritation and a deep-seated pain for Dinoa.
He felt compelled to defeat Shye personally to overcome his own insecurities, though he would never admit it, not even to himself.
Now, the very person who had shaken his confidence was the one to steal the girl he already considered his, right before his eyes.
Dinoa would naturally never accept such a thing.
"And who are you?" Shye asked condescendingly, activating his arrogant young master mode specially reserved for jerks. "Weâre in a bit of a hurry. Will you step aside, or should I move you myself? The first option would be less painful for you."
Upon hearing Shyeâs arrogant words, the rage in Dinoaâs heart finally erupted in the form of a scoff.
"Oi, oi, Shye Crowley, do you even realize who youâre talking to? Has all that potential hero nonsense messed with your head? Iâve been around here way longer than you have. Showing me some respect might save you from embarrassment."
"Why the hell would I ask who you are if I already knew? Maybe youâre not as famous as you think. Now, answer meâwill you step aside, or should I move you myself?"
Veins bulged at the sides of Dinoaâs head, irritated by Shyeâs lack of fear.
âFine, then. Iâll show you that youâre nothing but a small fish in a vast lake...â
"Do it then, move me if you caâ"
Before the tan-skinned, curly brown-haired youth could finish his sentence, the sharp crack of Shyeâs palm meeting his cheek rang through the headquartersâ lobbyâa gratifying sound that delighted the ears.
The perfectly executed slap sent Dinoa flying through the air, crashing face-first into the walls of the Shepherdâs Call Adventurer Guild, located directly across the wide street.
"Now then, everyone, letâs go," Shye said in a dignified manner, snapping everyone on his side back to reality and prompting them to follow him.

Naturally, everyone was wide-eyed and slack-jawed at the sight of how effortlessly Shye had dealt with Dinoa, a recently promoted adamantite-ranked adventurer and amongst the small percentage of peak existences in Adthiopia.
This gave them a glimpse of Shyeâs current strength, including the adamantite-ranked adventurers of his guild.
They now viewed him as both a threat to their rank and a potential ally who could help them climb further up the rankings.
Meanwhile, Dinoa Parellâs reputation plummeted to an all-time low.
His subordinates were left disheartened and anxious about the future of their division after their leader was defeated by a rival division leader with a single, brutal slap, his face rearranged to one side.
As Shye left the headquarters, however, he was shocked to find that despite appearing dazed and heavily injured, the bastard he swatted away like a fly still had the energy to try and stand up.
"SHYEâ¦CROWLEY! WEâRE NOT DONE YET! OI! FACE ME!"
Unfortunately, Shye was indeed in a hurry and had no patience for Dinoaâs foolish antics.
So, he chose to ignore him for now and proceeded directly to the special teleportation circle in the city square, accompanied by the three beauties and ten of his other subordinates.
âIf this clown dares to prance around me again when I return, Iâll make sure he wonât have the physical capability to do so in the futureâ¦â he vowed inwardly.
Upon arriving at the city square, heads turned as everyoneâs attention was captured by the striking small group: a charismatic, ashen-haired youth accompanied by three beautiful women and ten priests and priestesses in pristine white robes.
"Shye Crowley!" exclaimed the individuals who recognized him.
They speculated about the groupâs purpose in the city square.
A few moments later, everyoneâs eyes widened upon seeing the group heading straight toward the special teleportation circle.
Everyone knew that a special permission ticket was required for each person, so most couldnât fathom what the small group was planning by heading to the teleportation circle.
It almost seemed as if they were deliberately seeking humiliation from the operator.
"Hello, Operator Kim."
"Oh? Sir Crowley, you just returned from your mandatory mission a few hours ago, right? Where are you heading now? Andâ¦who are these people with you?"
"Ahhâ¦about thatâ¦"
Shye motioned for everyone behind him to wait outside the small gate while he spoke with the operator.
"You see, the city lord provided me with a special pass allowing me to bring up to a hundred people. However, he instructed me to keep the pass confidential and not display it publicly. Itâs meant to be a secret how my group and I accessed the special teleportation circle. Do you have a private office where I couldâ"
"Ahh! Certainly, Sir Crowley, please follow me."
Operator Kim was also curious as to what type of special pass City Lord Blas gave Shye as a reward.
âNoâ¦it couldnât be THAT ticket, right?â
Operator Kim was aware that the pass that was on his mind could be a powerful weapon with the potential to bring about Valenzia Cityâs downfall if it fell into the wrong hands.
Therefore, he found it hard to believe that Blas would have entrusted such an item to Shye.
â¦Upon arriving at the operatorâs office, Shye immediately retrieved his special pass along with a letter from Blas.
Naturally, Operator Kim eagerly examined the special pass, his eyes widening as he recognized it as the Valenzia Hero Pass.
This could only mean one thing: Valenzia was about to have its first-ever hero.
"S-S-Sir Crowley! Permission granted! You donât need to pay the fee; the city hall will cover everything!"
"My deepest thanks, Operator Kim!"
Soon after, the veteran operator quickly granted entry to Shyeâs underlings, even offering them a deep bow as he did so.
"No way! How did Shye Crowley manage to get the operator to let his small group use the special teleportation circle when even some adamantite-ranked adventurers werenât allowed?"
"Is there anything he canât do?"
"Damn! Everyone needs to hear about this! Those with recording crystals, capture everything!"
