Chapter 555: Entering An (S) Ranked Mana Dungeon
Flashy Adventurer System : Show Off to Get Stronger!
The Deltra Extermination Party was stupefied as they watched their dependable leader lose miserably.
However, it wasnât only them.
Fyun, Nutter, the other handlers, and the regional champions also couldnât believe their eyes.
Even Rai Houâs eyes widened and his heart raced slightly upon seeing the results of the clash.
Leonne, though not on their level, was no pushover.
Rai Hou was certain that even (S-) ranked and some (S) ranked monsters would struggle to send a tank-type warrior like him flying with a single hit.
âSo heâs not lying when he said that he was the strongest among us, huh?â The Yon Augenn champion inwardly thought. âHow scaryâ¦â
"Sigh, since weâve already started fighting, letâs finish this. Come, who else wants to challenge me for our partyâs right to enter the dungeon?" Shye said arrogantly, resting one of his greatswords on his shoulder while pointing the tip of the other at the Deltra Party. "Iâll humor you."
However, how could anyone dare challenge him after such a brutish display of strength?
Without simulation protection talismans, they would surely die; hence, despite their frustrations after witnessing their leaderâs disastrous defeat, none of them dared step forward.
"Hmm⦠no one? Alright then," Shye said, turning to face his teammates. "What about you guys? You arenât convinced that I deserve a spot on this extermination roster, no? Since Iâve already drawn my greatswords, it would be convenient to settle everything before I put them back in my spatial bag."
"You punkâ¦"
"You dare underestimate me, hillbilly?!"
"You shitty bratâ¦"
Shyeâs words naturally angered Dalton, Walter, and Koneko.
Yet, astonishingly, it seemed that they were hesitating whether they should step forward or not.
There would be no mana simulation talismans to protect them should they decide to fight him.
Faced with such brutish strength, one mistake could mean death.
As a result, Dalton, Walter, and Koneko were caught between a rock and a hard place.
If they chose not to fight him, it would mean they were scared, but if they did, there was a risk of them perishing.
Luckily, the reliable senior handler Fyun spoke up and saved them from their predicament.
"Crowley! If you cause trouble one more time, Iâll send a report to the headquarters regarding your misconduct!"
"Gehâ¦I-I apologize, Sir Fyun. It wonât happen again." Shye insincerely said, returning his greatswords to the systemâs inventory and shooting a mocking glance toward the trio before looking away.
Naturally, Shye didnât actually want to beat up his teammates right before entering the dungeon, as it would weaken their combat power.
Besides, he knew Fyun would step in.
He just challenged them to remind them that they should not f*ck around with him.
Otherwise, he would gladly make them face the consequences.
"Good. Letâs move; weâre running a bit late, so do a final inventory check and confirm when youâre done."
None of them dared disobey Fyun.
Thus, despite their anger at Shyeâs arrogance, they temporarily set aside their emotions, turning away from the devastated Deltra Party to perform one last inventory check.
A few minutes later, all of them confirmed that they were ready.
"One final reminder: stick to the plan and avoid any unnecessary actions. If the operation was jeopardized due to reckless heroics, the offender would be punished even if you cleared the dungeon. Proceed with the utmost caution. Set aside your differences for nowâIâll let you fight all you want after the mission is completed. Thatâs all. Move out!"n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
After listening to Fyunâs much-needed final reminder.

The extermination partyâs faces turned serious.
The senior handler was right, they needed to focus on the mission first. Their disagreements can be resolved after.
Nodding satisfactorily at the regional championsâ change in expression, Fyun signaled the guard chief to open the dungeonâs entrance, revealing an azure, see-through portal.
Soon after, under Rai Houâs lead, the WAAâs Horza Blaidde Extermination party entered the portal.
"Tch, what the hell is this?" Koneko complained immediately upon realizing they were in a pitch-black dungeon.
Despite the small purple flame balls burning eternally on the ground, forming what looked like a pathway, they could barely see anything.
"Koneko, Freeze, try using the night vision goggles provided by Sir Fyun." Rai Hou ordered, not a hint of sleepiness on his face.
Naturally, the two scouts promptly followed the leaderâs orders, quickly retrieving the Manasoft night vision goggles from their inventory, putting them on, and injecting mana to activate them.
"Ahh, crap, this equipment drains mana way too quickly!" Freeze complained as he focused on the dark area ahead to see what the dungeon looked like.
Unfortunately, even with the help of the night vision goggles, the two scouts barely saw anything.
However, the aid the equipment provided was at least enough to allow the two to advance slowly.
"Freeze, Koneko, what do you see?" Rai Hou asked.
He couldnât see anything.
Hence, he had no choice but to depend on the two scouts to navigate through the darkness.
They naturally prepared some consumable items that they could use to momentarily illuminate the surroundings and make battles easier.
However, since their resources were limited, it would be unwise to use the consumables against mere dungeon guards.
They had to use them sparingly and save a few for the boss fights.
"The floorâs surface is dried clay, as you can feel. However, be cautious of a few muddy patches that might cause you to slip." Koneko began, looking around for a few more seconds before continuing:
"Tchâ¦I canât see the ceiling. As for the walls, the pathways are quite spacious. As long as you donât stray more than twenty meters from your original position during battle, you shouldnât collide with these strange slimy walls. However, I donât understand the purpose of these flaming balls on the ground."
According to Fyun, the dungeon walls would drain oneâs vitality, so itâs best not to stay in contact with them for too long.
Fortunately, as Koneko noted, the pathways are quite spacious, so there shouldnât be too much to worry about.
"I see, thatâs enough. For now, letâs advance according to the discussed strategy."
