As William started packing up his medical kit, Sophie casually asked, “Did you make a special trip just for today?”

“No, I actually got here yesterday...” William paused, then quickly corrected himself, “I took the evening flight and stayed at the hotel overnight.”

“I noticed you didn’t have any luggage, so I figured you hadn’t just arrived today.”
