Seeing everyone staring at her, Sophie snapped back to reality and asked, "What?"

In the cozy living room of the Burke Estate, everyone was gathered around.

Jenna said, "We were just talking about the situation in Devonport. What’s up with you zoning out again?”

“Yeah, you’ve been off in your own world all day!” someone chimed in.

Adler, realizing he had lost his train of thought, asked, “Oh right, where was I?”

Jenna, rolling her eyes, replied, “You were talking about how James and Harold have teamed up, and how the Burke family and the Mintons have signed a five-year deal.”

“Right! Five years! Can you imagine the chaos if the Mintons bring their shady Summerfield practices to Devonport?”

Before Adler could finish, Odie shot him a frosty glare.

Everyone’s eyes turned to Odie, and Adler gave an awkward laugh. “I didn’t mean it like that... but come on, Summerfield’s a mess... you know it as well as I do.”

Odie leaned back on the sofa and said coolly, “I’m not from Summerfield, say whatever you want.”

Adler, feeling a bit chastised, softened his tone, "Anyway... the situation is what it is. You’ve seen how close James and Harold, the traitor, have gotten! I bet they’re in cahoots with that puppet master behind the scenes! How else could they start opposing us right from the get-go?”

“Exactly! And they even kidnapped me!” Sandy grumbled. “I told my dad, and he’s going to deal with them!”

Everyone else: “...”

Angelo tugged at Sandy’s sleeve, whispering, “Given the current mess in Devonport, even our dad coming here wouldn’t help.”

“Why not?”

“Sure, our family’s big overseas, but we don’t have any pull in Devonport. What good would our dad do here?”
