Chapter 1053
Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James)
Adler chimed in, âIâm really curious about the cool gifts Mr. Gordon brought. Count me in for the unwrapping tonight!â
âMe too! I wanna see!â Angelo added eagerly.
Sandy raised her hand, âCount me in too!â
Jenna playfully tapped their heads, laughing, âWhat are you all gawking at? Itâs their wedding night! You planning to crash their bridal suite?â
The trio rubbed their heads sheepishly and backed off, not daring to say more.
âGet backstage, quickly! The guests will be taking their seats soon, and you need to tidy up before the main event starts!â Jenna instructed.
She grabbed Sandy and escorted Sophie to the backstage area, noting that both the bride and groom had arrived, and the guests were settling into their seats.
The Costello family was small, and the Russell family had no remaining relatives, so aside from Lennon, the main table included Gordon, Adler, Jenna, Reece, Angelo, and Sandy to fill the seats.
Sandy looked at the lavishly set table and whispered, âArenât castle weddings supposed to have a church ceremony with a priest? This feels neither here nor there.â
âWhy are you asking me? How should I know?â Angelo replied, equally bewildered by the eclectic style.
Such an elaborate stageâwere they about to host a concert?
Just as Angelo pondered, the stage lights flashed, revealing a legendary pop diva singing an emotional love ballad.
Angelo and Sandy gasped in surprise.
What an intense opening!
Meanwhile, outside the castle, Odie arrived late. Hearing the singing, he wondered if he was at the right place.
Odie turned to Jonah and asked, âIs this... a wedding?â
âThe address is right; it was lively a moment ago,â Jonah confirmed.
They had seen a crowd when they drove up! How had it turned into a concert so quickly?

âLetâs go in and check it out,â he decided.
âYes, boss.â
Odie and Jonah pushed open the castle doors, and all eyes turned to them.
âIsnât that Mr. Odie? Whatâs he doing here?â someone exclaimed.
âThe Mintons and the Colbys are arch-enemies! Showing up now... could it mean trouble?â
The guests started whispering nervously, suddenly uneasy about being there. If a brawl broke out between these two notorious families, it could get dangerous for everyone!
Lennon glanced at the entrance, then lightly tapped his cane on the floor. Instantly, the singing stopped, and a team of bodyguards surrounded Odie.
Jonah tensed up, but Odie pushed him aside, saying, âIâm here for the wedding, old man. Letâs not ruin this joyous occasion with bloodshed.â
Lennon remained unimpressed, stating, âNo invitation, no entry.â
âWho says I donât have one?â Odie casually produced an invitation, offering, âWant to verify it?â
Lennon squinted, thinking he must have seen wrong. He even adjusted his glasses to see better, but it was too far to make out anything.
Lennon sternly asked his butler, âWhere did this guy get an invitation?â
âI donât know, sir; we didnât issue it!â
