New character alert!

Amrita and Ananya were in Amritaâs cabin, poring over files, the atmosphere calm but focused.
The rustling of papers and occasional exchanges of suggestions filled the room.
Suddenly, the door burst open with a loud bang, shattering the silence. Both women immediately went on high alert.
Amritaâs hand darted under the table, her fingers curling around the grip of her concealed gun.
Meanwhile, Ananya swiftly bent down, her hand instinctively reaching for the knife strapped near her ankle.
Their eyes snapped to the doorway, ready for trouble.
âSurprise!!â Mahima shouted, her face lighting up with a wide grin.
The tension melted away instantly.
âMaahi!!â Ananya squealed, her voice high-pitched with excitement.
She bolted across the room, throwing herself into Mahimaâs arms. The two hugged tightly, swaying slightly in joy.
Amrita stood back, observing the scene with a small smile. Sliding her hands into her pockets, she approached them casually.
âWell, well, look whoâs here,â she said, her tone warm but teasing.
Mahima grinned at Amrita as she pulled away from Ananyaâs embrace. âMiss Amul Baby, looking sharp as always,â she quipped, her eyes glinting with mischief.
âKeep calling me that, Maahi, and I might forget how glad I am to see you,â Amrita shot back with mock seriousness, though the corner of her lips quirked up in amusement.
Ananya pouted dramatically. âHey! Why does no one call me sharp?â
âBecause you,â Amrita said, turning to her younger friend, âare the human version of a loose firecracker.â
âRude!â Ananya huffed, crossing her arms.
Suddenly Ananya grinned. âWell, Maahi, you know itâs not 'Miss Amul Baby.' Itâs 'Mrs Aaryansh.'â She giggled.
âOh ho ho! Mrs Aaryansh?? Thatâs cute, Mrs Aaryansh!!â Mahima giggled with Ananya.
âOh, shut up!â Amrita glared at them both, but deep inside she actually liked being called that, though she would never admit it.
Mahima laughed. âOh, I missed this. Kolkata was so boring without you two. Six months of no dramaâI almost forgot what chaos feels like.â
Amrita raised an eyebrow. âYou? Without drama? Thatâs hard to believe.â
âI know, right?â Mahima said, flopping onto the couch like she owned the place. âBut donât worry, Iâm back now. Chaos can resume as usual.â
Ananya grinned and plopped down beside her. âSo, how was Kolkata? Did you manage to drive anyone crazy there?â
Mahima smirked. âOh, absolutely. The team there didnât know what hit them. By the time I left, they were calling me a tornado in heels.â
âSounds about right,â Amrita said dryly, though the warmth in her tone didnât go unnoticed.
âBut honestly, boss,â Mahima said, turning to Amrita, âyou owe me big time for that assignment. Six months of babysitting incompetent fools. I deserve a medal.â
âOr a demotion,â Amrita replied, her lips twitching in amusement.
âRude!â Mahima mimicked Ananyaâs earlier tone, making Ananya burst out laughing.
âOh, come on, Maahi,â Ananya said, nudging her. âYouâre practically the star of this company. Admit it.â
âWell, I wonât argue with that,â Mahima said, flipping her hair dramatically. âBut enough about me. Whatâs been going on here? Any juicy gossip?â
Amrita shook her head. âUnlike you, some of us actually focus on work.â
âBoring,â Mahima said, rolling her eyes. âAlright, Ananya, spill. Anything interesting happen while I was gone?â
Ananyaâs face lit up mischievously. âWell, letâs just say a lot can happen in six months.â
Amrita shot her a warning look. âDonât.â
âOh, Iâm definitely spilling later,â Ananya whispered to Mahima, earning a groan from Amrita.
âYou two are impossible,â Amrita muttered, though the fondness in her voice was evident.
Mahima grinned. âAnd thatâs why you love us.â
âDebatable,â Amrita replied, but her small smile betrayed her.

As the day wore on, Mahima seamlessly slipped back into her role as Amritaâs secretary, taking charge with her usual flair.
"You're favourite secretary back in charge boss!" Mahima said with a dramatical salute
"You better start working. And also, let me work too." Amrita said coldly as she got back into her work
Mahima rolled her eyes and got back to work
The office felt more organised with her presence, her quick actions adding a strict spark to the usual routine.
By evening, the three of them were back in the cabin, wrapping up the dayâs work.
Mahima stretched her arms above her head and sighed. âFirst day back, and Iâve already worked more than I did in six months at Kolkata.â
âGood. Thatâs what youâre here for,â Amrita said without looking up from her laptop.
âSlave driver,â Mahima muttered under her breath, making Ananya snicker.
Amrita glanced up, one eyebrow raised. âWhat was that?â
âNothing, boss!â Mahima said quickly, flashing an innocent smile.
Ananya giggled. âWelcome back, Maahi.â
Mahima grinned. âItâs good to be home.â
Mahima dropped Amrita and Ananya at the mansion, like she usually did before their marriage.
"You come too!" Ananya said opening Mahima's side of car door.
"Not now Anu.. I'll come some other day. Right now, I just wanna get to my apartment and collapse on the bed" Mahima said thinking about her peaceful sleep
Ananya chuckled and close her door. Both Amrita and Ananya waved off to Mahima as she drove off, like a pro ofcourse.
