Chapter 1877 - Take Her Away

“I won’t see her again after I leave here.” Feng Wu sighed.

“You can take her with you,” someone said matter-of-factly behind her.

Feng Wu turned around and saw that it was Little Phoenix.

Frustrated, she rubbed Little Phoenix’s head before walking away.

“Hey, little Feng Wu, I mean it! You can take her away!” Seeing that Feng Wu was going to ignore what it said, Little Phoenix jumped around her shoulders, trying to catch Feng Wu’s attention.

Feng Wu rolled her eyes at the bird. “Don’t be so naive!”

Little Phoenix stared at her in disbelief.

“Did you just call me naive?” The bird didn’t like the sound of that.

Feng Wu glanced at it again before completely ignoring its opinion once more.

“Hey, little Feng Wu! Little Feng Wu! What’s that look on your face? I’m talking to you!” Frustrated, Little Phoenix sat down on Feng Wu’s shoulder and tried to scratch her face.

Feng Wu sighed. “Fine, fine. I’m listening. Cut it out.”

Cut it out? Little Phoenix didn’t like that tone at all. She was treating it like a spoiled child! The bird was very mad.

To everyone else, it was Master Phoenix, a creature that even the white fairy feared, but little Feng Wu here seemed to find it querulous!

Little Phoenix poked Feng Wu’s head. “Hey, little Feng Wu, haven’t you noticed? I’m very capable!”

Feng Wu gave it a look that seemed to say, “You’re exaggerating again.”

Resting its wings on its waist and raising its chin, Little Phoenix said proudly, “Hmph! Haven’t you noticed that the white fairy is afraid of me?”

Feng Wu didn’t know what to say.

She gave Little Phoenix a “you idiot” look.

Displeased, it kicked Feng Wu’s neck. “Hey, why are you looking at me like that?”

Feng Wu heaved a long sigh. “I’m trying to think. Can you be quiet for a minute?”

Little Phoenix was shocked!

It stared at Feng Wu and said, “I’m the famous Master Phoenix! I’m so famous that the entire continent...”

“Fine, fine. You’re the famous Master Phoenix that the entire continent reveres. Everyone will kneel down in your presence...”

Although that was the truth, the way Feng Wu put it made it sound like Little Phoenix was bragging.

Whatever!

Little Phoenix emphasized once more, “You really can take the white fairy away with you. Although she’s short-tempered and not all that capable, at your current stage, she can be helpful to you.”

Feng Wu gave Little Phoenix an indescribable look.

Short-tempered? Not all that capable? Can be helpful?

She was the white fairy! She used to be one of the top masters on this continent. Why was the bird saying that she wasn’t all that capable?

She said in amazement, “Do you know an expression?”

Little Phoenix asked, “What expression?”

Feng Wu said, “A heart loftier than the sky. That’s what you have. You just called a powerful being like the white fairy mediocre. Master Phoenix, do you realize that you’re only a Spiritual Elder?”
