Over the past couple of days, every time she called, I’ve been using excuses to avoid her. She isn’t able to contact the Ling girl, so she must be concerned. Therefore, she’s come without giving any notice.” Madame Ruan sighed. “That’s to be expected. For a grandmother to be worried about her granddaughter is normal.”

Wang Yazhi nodded, her eyebrows furrowed. “But when can we do now? We must find a way to avoid her.”

Yu Chenshi was currently happily chatting with the guard outside. “I haven’t been able to get hold of my granddaughter recently.
