Chapter 1: Rebirth

Kaito's POV:

"I..I trusted you..."I said softly and looked at my best friend who had betrayed me. What had caused him to to do this?...

Before The Accident

Aki POV:

"Aki! You done packing?"

"Be patient, I'm almost done." I chuckled as I saw my best friend, Shiro pout as I told him to be a little bit more patient.

" Alright, I'm done, let's go"I smiled

"Finally!"Shiro exclaimed as he released a sigh of relief when he heard that I was done packing.

I looked around the hallways that I always walked to get to my class. I felt that something was different and strange. However, when I did not see anything wrong, I started to feel anxious and worried.

When we had made it to the zebra crossing, they noticed that light was green. So to make use of our time, we decided to talk about important things that we needed to do.

"What's taking so long?.."I mumbled under my breath and looked at the light signal.

'Huh?.. Why am I falling?...'I thought as I was forcefully pushed onto the road.

No one POV:

Akira Kaito a high school sophomore had a dream to become a doctor to save people. However, his dreams were crushed and shattered after his best friend pushed him onto the road. His life flashed before his eyes. He was laying on the floor bleeding. His life was ending.

"I...I trusted you..." Akira said softly, looking at his best friend but not with hatred or rage, but sadness.

'Was this the weird feeling I had felt earlier?...'

As Akira took one last glance at his best friend and noticed he had a smile on his face. Akira never thought his best friend, Shiro, would betray him. Akira took his last breath and closed his eyes with sadness as he could not fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor.

No one POV:

'Where am I?...'

'Didn't I die...?'

"Indeed, you did die."A strange voice responded.

Akira was shocked, he didn't say those words out loud.Akira mustered up his strength and said," Who...who are you?...Why am I here?..."

"I'm the goddess of reincarnation, I've brought you here as I thought you deserved a second chance."

"What do you mean by 'a second chance'?.."Akira asked the goddess.

"I'll give you a second life, you'll be reborn into another world."

"Is that even possible?..For me to reborn?.."

"Of course it is! After all, I'm the goddess of reincarnation! Everything's possible with me!"The goddess of reincarnation said cheekily

"Alright, I trust you... Am I going to be reborned now?..."

"Yep! Off you go!"

"Huh?! Wait!"

"Phew... What am I going to do with him...He's been suffering for so long already..."

'It's so bright...where am I?...'

"My lady! It's a boy!"

'Huh?...That voice.."

BOOM

"DEAR! Are you alright?! How are you?! Where's the baby?!"A strange voice said with excitement.

"Calm down...he's right there"another strange voice said tiredly.

"He opened his eyes!"

"That's great!..What are you going to name him?.."

"Hmm..How about, Arius Edward Chester?"

"That sounds perfect!.."

'That face!..Isn't he Damien Edward Chester?! Did the goddess reincarnate me into a novel story?!"

Akira, no Arius had recognised that familiar face from a novel he read before he was reincarnated. The name was called 'The World Is Cruel'.

The story was about the downfall of the Chester family. When Arius Edward Chester was born chaos began. It was said that Arius had always beat the servants and harm them. Arius had always thought of the servants beneath him. He always caused trouble for them including his family. When they were visiting another dukes mansion, he told them that his family was scheming something to kill them. However, they weren't. By telling them that, it caused the duke to cut ties with the Chester family. However that didn't stop there, when Arius reached the proper age, he was finally able to go the Strass Academy. Strass Academy was the most prestigious school in the Capital. Only high ranking nobles were able to study there. On Arius first day of school, he told his classmates the same thing that he had said to the dukes family. It made all of the nobles family weary of the Chester family. Rumours started circulating about what the Chester family might do to the nobles family. Weeks passed after the rumours were started. Lilith, Arius mother could not take it anymore. She could believe the son she had given birth had caused families who supplied them with stuff to cut ties with them. She took her own life by hanging herself.

When Damien found out, he mourned for her death. He could not believe her wife took her life just because of her own son. He cried for days, grieving about his wife's death. However his two eldest children only mourned for her death as they only found out a few days later.

Arius didn't mourn for her death. He was surprised and shocked, he could not believe that he caused her death. A few years later, chaos started. A war began. The king of Strass ordered Damien to send out his eldest son, Sebastian Edward Chester and his soldiers to go to the battlefield. Damien was reluctant, but he still had no choice but to obey the kings order. Another year has passed and the Strass Empire has won. However, Sebastian had died while fighting. Damien had lost his heir. Once again, the Chester family had lost another family member.

More years have passed since then. Damien's daughter, Lillian Edward Chester was attending a tea party hosted by Duke Solvata's wife. They were talking about the trends that were trending until Lillian coughed up blood. She had been poisoned. She was immediately brought to one of the guest rooms in the dukes house. When the Damien was notified about the accident he rushed straight to the dukes house. However, he was too late. The poison was to strong for Lillian to handle. Again, another family member dead. Leaving only Damien and Arius left.

When Damien got back home with Lillian's dead body covered with a white cloth. He saw Arius waiting for him worriedly wondering if Lillian was alright. However blood gushed out of Arius chest. He had been stabbed. By who? That was the question. It none other then his father. And Arius looked at his father shocked. Damien pulled out his sword from Arius chest and saw his lay on the ground lifeless. He dropped his sword on the ground and was surprised at he had done. He had killed he last family member. He wondered what he had just done. He could not take it anymore and took his sword.He put his sword at his neck and killed himself.Silence filled the air. The last two members of the Chester family were dead.

As Akira is now Arius, he had to change the storyline. He did not want to die again as this would be probably his last chance of living. He had to make sure his family doesn't die.

In order to do that he would not do the things that the original Arius had done. He will build connections and help his parents and siblings with whatever they needed. He promised himself that he would change the ending to ensure his safety.

I had trouble writing this as I didn't know how to plan out the story for the novel that Akira had read. Like I said before please give me some advice and some criticism to help me improve my writing and my story. If you have any ideas I'll make sure to incorporate them into my story.

I know this is quite short but this is my first time writing my own story so I really don't know how authors know how to write. I kinda wonder how people come up with good ideas for their stories :').
