Ch.29 Chapter 29 - My Darling Little Ki...

Alexander's POV

" Has anyone seen the girls? " Jaxon asked as he walked into my office.

" No why? " Nate said and I looked up from my paperwork.

" Because one minute I put the blanket on them while they're asleep downstairs and the next minute they're gone "

" They could just be outside.. " Scott said shrugging and Jaxon shook his head.

" Charlie is afraid of snow.. She wouldn't even dare to step foot outside. "

" So where could they be? " Liam asked. I looked over to my window to see it was still snowing. I looked towards the ground and narrowed my eyes. Even though the snow was covering it up there was a few foot prints leading out of the gate.

" Did any of you leave earlier when it started snowing? " I asked them.

" No we've been here. Why? " Jaxon asked. I got up quickly and ran to the door.

" Check the perimeter. North, south, east, west. Liam get your warriors. " They nodded their heads and quickly got up. They went outside and started to look around. I walked over to the couch and examined it for any clues. On the floor next to the coffee table was a tranquilizer dart and there was blood on the tip. I picked it up and I sniffed it. It smelt like Serenity.

The guys came back and held up a gun that was wet from the snow. The footprint, the dart, the gun... I thought about as the pieces started to come together.

" Briggs... He's got them "

Serenity's POV

My head spinned as my eyes started to open slowly. I looked around to see rusty walls and broken down cell bars. It was pretty dark and the only source of light was the swinging light bulb from the ceiling. I looked over to see Charlie on my shoulder snoring softly. My ears started to ring as the noise that was down here finally hit my eardrum. There were screams, laughs and cries.

My body was in so much pain and I noticed we were chained to the wall. I noticed someone in the corner of the cell. Their backs were turned to me as they spoke to the wall. They turned around and made eye contact with me. He slowly walked into the light only then did I see it was Briggs. Charlie rubbed her eyes with her hands as she just started to wake up.

" Serenity oh Serenity... you don't know how long I've waited for this moment. " He walked closer to us.

" I love the feeling of looking down at you being at my mercy.. It's quite pleasing if I do say so myself. " Charlie rolled her eyes at him and he gave her the side eye.

" I don't particularly like you pup.. You're quite irritating. "

" Well buddy... the feelings mutual " She smirked and he rolled his eyes.

" W-why are we here? What did we even do? " I asked whimpering and he crouched down to my face.

" You are here for my amusement until I finally get annoyed and I kill you both... You didn't do anything that would make me hate you. It's just your presence alone that is so putrid and I want to rid the world of such evil things like you. Like I said curiosity killed the cat "

" Well satisfaction brought it back dumbass " Charlie muttered and he grinned at her tired state.

" In your cases.. Satisfaction is not really going to bring you back after I'm through with you. " He put his hand out and rested it on Charlie's stomach. I could feel her heart quicken as he rubbed it. He moved the hand over my stomach and did the same thing.

" It's devastating that when I kill you two I'll be killing the little pups and kittens inside of you.. " My heart sank. I'm pregnant? I didn't think I was because I didn't feel the immediate responses yesterday.

" Maybe Blake will persuade me to spare you two. Not the babies of course. He wants you as his sex slaves.. He told me himself " He laughed as he stood up.

" Well I'll be leaving you girls for now.. Until next time. " He walked out the cell and locked it hanging the keys on the outside wall. My eyes watered as I looked over to Charlie who's head was down.

" A-are you ok? " I asked softly and she nodded.

" Are y-you sure? " She nodded again and lifted her head.

" D-do you feel like crying? " She nodded her head and looked a me as a tear slipped down her face.

" D-do you? " She croaked and I nodded my head as tears fell from my eyes as well. She hugged my torso and I hugged her back as we both sobbed helplessly.

We both then cried ourselves to sleep.

8 hours later

I woke up as I felt someone pulling on the chains that me and Charlie were connectedÂ to. My eyes adjusted to the light of the room and I looked over to see her hitting the chain with what looked like a knife.

" Why... Do you have a knife? " She laughed at me.

" When have I ever not carried a knife around with me babe? "

" TouchÃ©... " I smiled as my head suddenly started to feel dizzy and my ears started to ring.

" It's going to feel like that for a while.. They injected us with something that hurts us each time someone is trying to mindlink us. " I nodded my head as I rested it on her leg.

" I'm making progress with the chains since they're so rusty but it's slow progress. " She continued to torture the chain with her knife. Over the rogues who were yelling down the hall we could hear a faint whistle. Charlie quickly put her knife out of sight and we looked to see who was going to turn the corner. It was Blake.

" Well look who we have here... My two favorite girls who are oh so precious.. " He grinned sadistically as he leaned against the cell bars.

" I've missed you two but it's almost like you've been trying to avoid me " He laughed as he pulled out two small sandwiches and water pouches from his pocket. He threw it at us and I looked at the sandwich that definitely had mold on it.

" Eat up.. I'll be back in an hour to discuss some things.. " He walked the other way and we waited until we heard the door slam. It seemed that we weren't the only ones who waited for the door to shut. We heard footsteps from the hall again and we gasped as we saw who turn the corner and both yelled.

" BRIENNA! " She jumped as she turned around and made eye contact with us. She walked over to us cautiously and gulped. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had on a white longsleeve, jeans and combat boots.

" L-Luna, C-Charlie? " We nodded our heads as she reached the bars.

" Brienna we need you to help us out. " Charlie said frantically.

" W-what? " She stuttered as she looked around frightened.

" We need you to unlock the cell and our chains. "

" Can't.. C-can't " She said sadly and I tilted my head at her terrified state.

" What are you even doing down here? " I asked.

She shrugged " Reasons "

" Do you see that set of keys to the side? " She nodded.

" Can you do me a favor and pick it up? " She picked it up.

" Now can you take the big key and unlock the cell? " She shook her head.

" Can't do it... "

" Why? " Charlie asked softly and Brienna sniffled.

" Blake s-says I can't be a b-bad girl or I'll get punished. I-I don't like b-being punished. I c-can't be bad.. Especially when he gets mad "

" What does he do? " Charlie asked softly again.

" No food, no water.... and he hits me sometimes. " She whispered.

" If you help us we can take you away from him.. Wouldn't you like to get away from Blake? " She nodded quickly and fumbled with the keys as she opened the cell. She quickly came over to us and started to undo the chains. After she finished we stood up and she grabbed our hands. She pulled us out of the cell and down the way she came. We paused quickly and everything went silent as we heard multiple loud growls come from outside.
