This chapter will be in narrative style.“I’m an idiot, seriously who does that??? I’m mad crazy fellow who took the bottle and spun it and guess what it landed on Angel and that uggghhhh jerk I hate him I will always hate him…… I can’t believe he would ask her to kiss him. I get it he is her boyfriend but I can’t see it. I can’t see them together anymore. Haven’t I already had enough of all this. He has been the perfect guy to her which I wanted but guess what I can’t be with her because of him and also because of my crazy fear. Ugggh I’m so going to go crazy. Luckily I came out of that place if I would have stayed any longer I would have surely either hit him or made a fool of myself.” While talking and mumbling and clenching his fist Ryan kept walking unknowingly and reached near the pool.The night and pool reflected each other very well. He gave a deep sigh and sat down near the pool and continued to speak and mumble for few minutes and then continued his anger and frustration in his thoughts.Meanwhile at the terrace, “Oh” said Angel and gets up and storms off from there. Angel had walked off and went and stood at the balcony. Everyone was surprised and sad at the moment. Once she reached, al her emotions poured out and she started crying. She was thinking how Zach could do this. Why didn’t Ryan tell her? Why did Zach take gifts from Ryan? How did he forget her birthday? Why did Ryan paint her? Why was Ryan mad and he left? Why Zach didn’t remember her favorite things? Why does Ryan remember and not Zach? She starts crying loudly and cursing.Zach comes from behind and tries to hug her. Angel moves his hand, turns around and pushed him away. She screams “GET AWAY FROM ME!” Zach was scared at the moment. He asks with a concern look on his face “Listen Angel, I know what we did was wrong but please forgive me and Ryan. It was only one time.”Angel comes towards Zach and slaps him hard. Zach didn’t say anything and just stood there.She screams “WAS IT JUST ONCE OR MANY TIMES?”Zach says with sad tone “Listen Angel, I know what we did was wrong, please don’t blame Ryan for this. I only told him to keep it secret. If you want to put blame then blame me completely. And it was one time only.”She screams “WHY DID YOU DO THIS? WHY DID YOU TAKE RYAN’S HELP? AND HE TOO WAS HELPING YOU!”Zach didn’t know what to answer. He puts his head down again. Angel wipes her tears and says “Do you even love me?”Zach looks at her with question mark on his face and instantly says “Of course love, why did you ask that?”Angel screams “THEN WHY DON’T YOU REMEMBER EVEN THE SMALLEST THING I LIKE AND WHY DID YOU PRETENDED TO KNOW?”Zach was quiet. He couldn’t answer her. She continues “I FUCKING HAD DOUBTED YOU WHEN YOU GAVE ME THE PAINTING AND YOU SAID YOU DID IT. I KNEW YOU DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO PAINT AND ONLY RYAN KNOWS HOW TO PAINT AND DRAW IN THE WHOLE GROUP. BUT I THOUGHT MAYBE YOU MUST HAVE LEARNED FOR ME! BUT NOPE, YOU FUCKING TOOK THE GIFT FROM RYAN AND GAVE IT TO ME. I EVEN WONDER IF YOU EVEN CARE FOR ME OR NO.”Zach says with stern voice “I DO care for you Angel. I swear this was only one time.”“This happened always Angel”She heard the voice. They both turned to the voice and saw it was Max and Lucas standing along with Rhea. Leo and Leah too were standing with annoyed look on their faces.Max said “This happened always and I even told Ryan to tell you but he thought you would get hurt so he couldn’t tell. He only wanted you to be happy.”Lucas sighed “I told you Zach she would find out. Truth does come out no matter how much you hide them.”Angel was annoyed and looks at Zach with her red watery eyes and hisses “IS MAX SAYING THE TRUTH?”Zach looks down and mutters “Yesss…”Angel scoffs “WOW ANOTHER FUCKING LIE! ANOTHER LIE? CAN YOU NOT LIE FOR ONCE ZACH? DO I EVEN KNOW YOU? HAVE YOU EVER SAID ANYTHING TRUTHFUL TO ME EVER?”Zach says with sorrow look “Look Angel I am sorry. I love you and I really do. Please forgive me and Ryan. Remove all your anger on me and not on Ryan. He doesn’t even know that you have found out. Please forgive me.”Angel seethes “I will deal with Ryan later. Right now I am talking to you! I cannot believe you did this Zach. After so many years we have dated. I loved you so much and you come and do this to me? Do you even love me?”Zach says with sorrow face “Yes I do love you Angel.”Angel screams “THEN WHY?”Zach puts his head down not knowing what to answer. Rhea comes and hugs Angel. Angel starts crying more. Rhea says “Angel come let us drop you home Leah and I will stay with you okay?”Angel sniffs “O-okay thanks.” And they walk away with Max to the car.Leah comes and smacks Zach’s arm and shouts “I DIDN’T EXPECT THIS FROM YOU ZACH! WHY DID YOU DO THAT? THIS IS REALLY A BAD STUNT YOU PULLED. AND YOU EVEN INVOLVED RYAN IN THIS.”Zach almost starts crying and says “I-I am sorry Leah. I didn’t know what to do. I know I shouldn’t have brought Ryan in middle and I regret doing it. Please forgive me.”Leah screams “I WILL FORGIVE WHEN ANGEL FORGIVES YOU. LEO LETS GO! DROP ME TO ANGEL’S PLACE.”Leo shakes his head with disappointment and says “Bro, not cool man. You shouldn’t have done it.”Leo holds Leah’s hand and walks off with her.Lucas comes and says “Bro want me to stay?”Zach says “Yes bro. I-I am sorry bro.”Lucas says “I am disappointed in you bro. Why did you even pull a stunt like this even after knowing the outcome?”Zach puts his head down and mutters “I-I didn’t know what to do.”Lucas sighs and says “Let’s go in and sleep.” Zach nodded and they went to the room.Meanwhile, Ryan was at the pool looking at the water. He was thinking. He was replaying in his mind about Zach and Angel kissing. He couldn’t take it anymore. He tried all his ways to get to Angel but it just goes in vain. He sighs and says to himself “Angel I want you to be mine but you are going further away from me. I guess I should move on. It’s no use. Angel will never be mine. I only prayed and prayed for a miracle but it just doesn’t seem to be right. Maybe if I move on I’ll be better.”By that time Mia comes and sits down with him and asks “Hey, are you okay?”Ryan looks at her and smiles and says “Yea I am fine.”Mia asks “Then why did you leave and come here?”Ryan sighs and says “Nothing just… I wanted some fresh air.” Mia nods and says “Okay.”Ryan and Mia sit there with silence dominating the night. They both looked at each other many times then look at the water in the pool. Ryan then asks “So… well how were the tests?”Mia says “It went good thanks.”Ryan says “Okay that’s nice.” This was awkward for the both of them. After 3 minutes of eerie silence Ryan gets up and says “Let me drop you home. It is late anyways.”Mia nods and gets up. Ryan gives his hand for her to hold and she blushes. She holds his hand and they walk towards Ryan’s car. They were walking like a couple walking.They reached and Ryan opened the door for her like a gentleman. He says “After you my lady.” Mia giggles and sits down. By this Ryan smiles and closes the door. He walks towards the driving seat and sits down. He starts the engine and drove off to Mia’s house.Unknown to them Angel came down and saw them walking hand–in– hand together and going towards Ryan’s car. Seeing them like this she gets furious and irritated and clenches her fist. Rhea had gone to collect her car keys and came a few minutes later.After 20 minutes they reach at Mia’s house. Mia says “Bye Ryan. See you tomorrow.”Ryan asks “Before you go I wanted to ask you something.”Mia says “Sure ask away.”Ryan “Remember when you asked me if we can hang out sometime. I would want to take you out for lunch. If you don’t mind.”Mia blushes and hugs him “Sure I’d love to. See you soon.”Ryan hugs her back and says “Bye Mia. Take care.”Mia then gets out of car and closes the door. Ryan waits till she gets home. She closes her house door and Ryan then drives towards his home. Ryan says to himself “Maybe I should give Mia a chance. Maybe I should move on. I love Angel and will always will. But the best solution now is to move on and I have decided it.”Ryan smiles at himself and drives. He sings happy songs while driving. Once he reached home he went up to his room and starts thinking of times with Angel. He sighs and says “Will she ever be mine? Will it be okay if I move on? Mia actually likes me. I can understand her feelings as they are just like mine… One sided feelings so maybe I should give her chance shouldn’t I? But my feelings are strong for Angel. I don’t want to hurt Mia. I can’t escape the feelings I have for Angel. God these emotions are driving me crazy. I guess I should give Mia a chance and that will be the best for all four of us, Zach and Angel and Mia and me.”He continues “Mia is sweet girl, so is Angel. Will I be able to give her love like how I give Angel secretly? I hope I try to move on and give the love Mia deserves.” He sighs and falls asleep.Meanwhile at Angel’s houseAngel is crying. Rhea and Leah were comforting her.Leah says with a disappointment look “I didn’t know Zach would do such a thing. And that he would bring Ryan in middle.”Rhea sighed and said “I told Ryan not to be so naïve. I told him she will find out. But he only sees Angel’s happiness and nothing else.”Leah said “But why Ryan didn’t tell us? Why you didn’t tell us Rhea?”Rhea sighed and said “He didn’t want to hurt Angel and lose her as his best-friend. Plus he was told to keep quiet about this.”Angel was confused as in what Rhea said. She thinks. Does Ryan really like her? Did he actually go through this for her? Why did Zach take all credit while Ryan did all the work? Why Ryan didn’t tell her? So many questions in her mind.She was snapped from her zone when Leah shakes her and asks “Hey are you okay?”Angel sniffs “I-I-I don’t know what to say.”Leah hugs her and says “It’s okay now don’t cry. We wouldn’t want to see you crying.”Angel hugs back and Rhea joins in too. They were silent for a while then Leah pulls away and throws a pillow. Leah smirks while Angel and Rhea look at each other. Angel wipes off her tears and smirks too and says “Oh pillow fight eh? Let’s see what you got?”They all started a pillow fight and they giggled and played for 1 hour. After an hour the girls fell down laughing. Angel then says “I love you two so much. You both know how much this means to me. Thanks for being there for me.”Leah and Rhea said “We are your sisters. We are here for you always.”All the three girls hug each other and then took some selfies. They were gossiping and laughing and taking pictures. After 30 minutes they were tired and went off to sleep.Next day.Ryan woke up. He was smiling today. He smiles and says “Today is a new day.” He gets up and goes for bath. He dresses up and goes down to eat breakfast. He then gets ready for goes to school. He was thinking about last night. He kept replaying the kiss Zach and Angel shared in his mind. His smile fades away but then tells himself that “It’s okay Ryan. You got this. You can move on. But I wish Angel was mine.”He reaches school and walks towards his locker. He took out his books and he noticed Angel shouting at Zach while he was holding flowers in his hand. He wondered what’s wrong and tries to go towards them but he was stopped with a hand on his shoulder. He noticed the hand and saw it was his sister Rhea. She looked disappointed. Ryan looks at her with his eyebrow raised and asked “Sis what’s wrong?”Rhea sighs and says “I told you bro she will find out. She found out while we were playing and she is mad at you and Zach.”Ryan got tensed and he stuttered “S-s-she found out? OMG I can’t take it. She will hate me even more.” He was almost in tears when Rhea hugged him. Rhea says “She is more mad at Zach than you bro. It’s okay she will forgive you.”Ryan smiles and he walks towards Angel. Angle looks at him with annoyed face and slaps Ryan. Ryan didn’t say anything as he knew he deserved it. Angel shouts “Ryan what is the meaning of this? WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME? WHY WERE YOU HELPING ZACH? WHY DID YOU HIDE THIS FROM ME?”Ryan said slowly “I just wanted to see you happy.” He knew she won’t kiss him by saying that but he said it since she is his best-friend and lover (secret).Zach looks at both of them and says with concern tone “Honey, please forgive us. I promise you I will do my best to keep you happy. Please baby. Please I beg of you.”Ryan also says “I-I am sorry Angel. I couldn’t help it.”Angel hisses “I need to think about it.” And she walks off.Ryan looks at Zach and says “I told you this will happen. Now look what you gotten us into.”Zach looks at him and says “As if I care. Anyway I will try my best to get her to forgive me.”Ryan was shocked as in what Zach said. He started thinking. Why did Zach say that? Does he really love her? If he doesn’t then why is he with her? He shouldn’t have said that. He sighs as he also needed to convince Angel. Luckily he brought her favorite hand-made chocolates. Oh do you know that Ryan makes chocolates and Angel loves them. He smirks in his mind and says she won’t resist this. He walks off to his class.The rest of the day goes when it is break time. Everyone rushed to the cafeteria and Angel packs her bag. She was still angry as in what Zach and Ryan did. She was thinking that what kind of boyfriend is this who forgets to give his girlfriend gift. Why did her best-friend do this? She sighs and walks towards the cafeteria. Once she reached she sat next to Leah ignoring Zach.Zach sighs and he gets her favorite food. Angel looks at the food and sighs. She says “So you think by doing this I will forgive you?”Zach says “I will do anything for your forgiveness. I am really sorry baby.” He looks at her with puppy eyes.Angel couldn’t resist this any longer. She was upset but she did love him. She finally gives up and says “Fine I forgive you. But remember you do something like this again I will never talk to you or forgive you.” She pouts and crosses her arms. Zach was happy and he hugs her. She smiles and hugs him back and says “I love you baby. Please don’t do this next time.”Zach says “I promise you baby.”Leah sighs and says “I guess I can forgive you too Zach. But I am keeping my eyes on you.”Zach says “Please forgive Ryan too. He wasn’t at fault actually. I dragged him into this. Please forgive him too.”Angel smirks and says “Nope, let me be angry at him for a while just for fun. Let me see what he does.”Zach smiles and says “Okay baby.”They all eat their lunch and walk off to their lockers. Angel went to remove her books while Ryan approaches to her. He was tensed as he wanted her to forgive him badly. He looks at her with sad eyes and says “Hey I am sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. Please forgive me.”Angel hisses “Why should I? After what you did, you think I’d forgive you?”Ryan then smirks and shows her favorite chocolates. He smirks and says “I know you cannot resist these.”Angel looks at chocolates and squeals “EEEEEEEE my favorite.” She snatches them and eats them. Ryan laughs at her childlike behavior. “You and your food” said Ryan.He watches her devour all the chocolates. He smiles as she finishes the chocolates. She looks at him and sighs “God why can’t I get angry?”Ryan smirks and says “I knew you like my home-made chocolates.”She pouts and says “Yea yeah I forgive you.” Ryan jumps and hugs her. Angel smiles at him and hugs back. She says “Don’t do this next time please.”Ryan pulls away and looks in her eyes and says “I promise I won’t.”Angel smiles and Ryan too smiles back.
