chapter 2

Ryan's POVThe bell rang for break and me and Max were packing our stuff and heading to cafeteria. We found our usual place and sat down. Max went to bring his food while I was on my phone playing video games. Max returned with his food and smacked on my head and said "Will you be playing whole day? Go grab some food!!" I groaned and got up to grab some food from the cafeteria.When I was paying for my lunch, I saw Angel standing next to me. God she was as gorgeous as ever. I wish I could just admire her every single day. She looked at me and smiled and said "Hi Ryan." Her smile is what I would love to see every single day. Her smile is the reason I fell in love with her. Her smile is the reason why I keep falling for her again and again. I looked at her and smiled trying to control myself and said "Nice to meet you again Angel. "I grabbed my tray of food and went back to my table. Angel offered me to sit with her and Zach but I refused politely saying Max is sitting alone. But the main reason is I could not see her hugging and sitting with Zach but she was happy.When I reached to my table I saw Max and Rhea laughing at me. I asked them "What's wrong guys?" Max said "The lover boy has risen". I smacked his head and sat down. He said "Oww that hurt." I and Rhea laughed and Rhea kissed Max and we started eating. Oh did I tell you that Rhea and Max are dating. They are the second hottest couple in the school. I was happy for them since they were made for each other. Max keeps Rhea happy and that mattered the most for me since she is my dearest sister and I know Max would not hurt her ever.While I was eating I glanced at the table where Angel and Zach were feeding each other which made me even more jealous and hurt. Rhea saw me and said "Brother, admit that you have feelings for Angel". I told her "I do but I know I won't get her." Max said "What if you do get her?" I said "If I did I would never leave her. I would treat her like a queen. But I know I would never get her as she is Zach's and I am happy as long as she is happy." Max and Rhea were surprised by the words and I continued munching the chips along with pizza and soda.Max said "You are so in love with her." I said "I do love her but she is not mine." I again glanced at her table and saw them hugging and kissing and said in my mind "I wish that was me."While we were eating we heard someone fighting. When I turned to look it was Angel and Viki fighting.  Viki is the meanest girl in the school. Her eyes were only on Zach and she would do anything to get him even if she had to breakup with them.I saw Angel's dress was ruined by the juice Viki spilled on her and they both were cursing each other. I also saw Zach defending Angel and shouting at Viki while Viki was complaining. I was furious from inside for what Viki has done but Zach was doing the work I wanted to do for Angel. I wished it was me and I would make Viki remember her grandmother.I ran to Angel and asked her "Are you okay Angel?" She said "I am fine Ryan just that bitch spoiled my dress." I said "Do you have extra clothes?" She was about to say something when Viki interrupted "Aww, the lover boy also cares." Angel defended me by saying "At least he is sweet unlike u whore." That caused butterflies in my stomach. I wish I could kiss her there and then but I controlled. Viki got angry and was about to say something when Zach came in middle and said "That's enough Viki! No one talks to my girlfriend like that! YOU HEAR ME? NO FUCKING ONE!" Viki sounded scared and she glared at Angel and left. She too had some juice spilled on her dress. I guess Angel must have done it. Well Viki deserved it.But what made me jealous is when Zach said those words. The words "my girlfriend" kept playing in my mind. I was hurt very much inside but I didn't show. I looked at Angel who was hugging Zach. I was in pain but I saw her happy and smiling so I too smiled. I know Zach and we are friends too. Zach was very kind person. Even though I hated him for having Angel as his girlfriend I still talk to him and we both are good friends.Leah came in and said "Angel I have extra clothes. Come with me and I will give you."I knew Leah too as she and Angel are best-friends. Leah was the bubbly and cheerful girl but yeah she is conscious when it comes to Angel and guys. But she trusted Zach, me and Max. I like her nature and her care towards Angel. I am glad she has good friends and a perfect boyfriend. But sad part was I wasn't her boyfriend, Zach was. If only I were in Zach's place I would also do the same he did. Angel is truly an angel. Her red hair even made her look more beautiful. Her smile. Gosh! Her smile literally kills me.I was talking to Leah when I glanced to see Zach kissing Angel and said, "Honey let's go." She nodded and he took her and went. I looked at them and said in my mind "I wish it was me who did this."Max & Rhea came up to me and Rhea said "What happened brother? You zoned out." I came back to reality and said "Viki spilled juice on Angel and they both fought. I ran up to her to ask her if she is fine." Max and Rhea looked at each other. I was confused. Then Max said "Ryan, I saw you look at Zach and Angel." I sighed and said "I knew it! It hurts but she is happy so I am happy too."Rhea said "If you know you will not get Angel then why don't you move on?"I said "No one has place in my heart other than Angel. Even if I have to stay away from her."The both looked at each other and sighed. Max said "Let's go to class." and we exited from the cafeteria.Hello guys! This is the author!
