(Devil's Marriage Trap) -Ace & Nina - Chapter 2 - Miserable tastes in men...!!!
CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife
âBrother, how is it?" Nina holds the dress and moves around happily to
show it to her brother.
Her innocent eyes asked for praise; this was her first ever going out
without restriction from her brother; suddenly, this feeling of freedom
made her feel she finally became an adult.
This joy became a beautiful memory in her life. This was her first party
with her crush; that man invited her because he wanted her to be his
partner for the night, which made her go crazy from excitement.
Ever since she laid eyes on that man, he was the first to treat her like
an adult who doesn't need bodyguards to babysit around 24/7; she is
tired of their gaze and overprotectiveness.
David Xiver raised his head and looked at the girl before him with
expressionless eyes. "Yes." It was the truth. But, in his eyes, there was
no beautiful woman in his eyes other than his sisters.
Nor did he ever look carefully at any other woman other than his sister,
so it was no surprise he never thought like that, even when he was
close to his 30s,
no woman got his attention, even though no one imagined this cold-
hearted man would also have a day when he would cry over a girl.
âBrother, I'll be back soon," Nina said bye to her brother and left with six
bodyguards tailing behind her; David looked at their backs for a while
and turned back.
Before she left, she gave him the information he wanted; she just said
that Andrew had invited her.
David looked at the invitation card and sighed; it was the birthday of A
country's president's daughter; she just turned 25 today.
The president invited him, but he refused because he hated any place
where people showed off their wealth and threw women at people to
show their intention.
What he hated the most in his life was any woman who threw
themselves at him.
For the first time, he went against his willpower and gave her
permission to go out, but suddenly he felt like it would've been better if
he had refused her, but there was no turning back.
But the sudden uneasy feeling bothered him so much that he wanted to
follow her.
Aunt Lin returned with a coffee mug and put it before David. "Since
you're so worried, why not refuse her in the first place?"
Aunt Lin knew David was dead worried about Nina; that girl was so
naive that even she would think the world was black and white.
David coughed; even though he tried to hide his worry, Aunt Lin still
caught it; he grabbed the cup and took a sip
âI know what she yawned the most, so if I keep her under control like
before, she would soon become irritated and frustrated; at this age,
people need freedom, otherwise, they might have different thoughts
about life, so it's okay to let her have it sometimes."
David also understands what Nina needs, but he can't give it to her all
the time, and he still needs to give it to her sometimes. Otherwise, she
would suffer inside.
Aunt Lin smiled gently, âI know, but that girl doesn't.â She said,
âIt's okay; she doesn't need to know, I understand, and that's enough,
and as their brother, I know what to do and how to protect them from
the evilness of this world," David said, even though a bad feeling was in
his heart.
Since it was David's decision, Aunt Lin asked little, and she trusted him.
If anyone wanted the best for them, it was David.
Even if he had to fight against the world, he wouldn't think twice about
doing it for Nina and Rose.
Inside the party hall, they held a party on one of the world's biggest and
most luxurious cruises; it was the birthday of A country's president's
daughter, who just turned 25 today.
His daughter had just returned from abroad, and to show the world, the
president hosted the party to introduce his daughter to the S country's
people.
The president hosted the party to introduce his daughter, who had just
come from abroad.
Nina walked in; the moment Nina walked in, everyone's eyes fell on
her; she was a lovely grown lady, and the boysâ mouths were left
hanging open; this was the first time they had seen this lady at any
party.
The girls looked at Nina's jealousy; the dress she wore was worth a few
million, and the six bodyguards around her were enough to make her
presence known among these thousands of people; their presence
made it clear their miss was not someone to mess with.
In the middle of the party hall, Nina looked like a beautiful moon shining
in the night sky. A handsome man in a black suit walked to her and
stood before her.
"You look beautiful.â Andrew invited Nina; he didnât expect her to show
her because he didn't expect David Xiver to send his woman to such a
party alone.
A red blush appeared on Nina's face; she smiled brightly as Andrew's
compliment flattered her. "You also look handsome." She praised no
one other than her brother, so she did not know how to compliment
someone.
Andrew smiled, there was no desire in his eyes for the lady before him,
yet Nina's eyes clearly showed puppy love.
âLet's go." Andrew raised his arm, and Nina grabbed it and walked in.
The bodyguards followed; Andrew looked at Nina with a gentle smile.
"Don't tell me your bodyguards will always follow you?" Andrew asked.
Nina let out an awkward smile. "Hmm," she answered.
Other people came with their bodyguards, but they didn't allow them
inside the party hall since the president made the security tight enough
to protect everyone.
But Nina's bodyguards didn't move an inch from her since they entered.
âLet's go.â Andrew didn't say much but didn't like it, and Nina felt it.
Andrew took Nina to the people where S country's famous girls were
gossiping about other people's lives because someone had been
waiting eagerly for her for a long time.
From upstairs, three men were standing elegantly holding their wine
glasses. Between them, one was in a black suit, and the other two were
in fancy suits as if they were for a fashion show.
The black-suited man wore a black mask on his face; only his eyes
were visible; their eyes, ufff, looked so deep,, like an endless bottom
pit, only fire avail in these eyes; there was no calmness and
peacefulness in them.
"Girls in S country girls have miserable tastes in men." the black-suited
men commented disdainfully.
The moment the black-suited man spoke, the other two men's eyes
almost spit out, and the wine glasses fell from their hands, shattered
into pieces, but these two men didn't even care about the drinks; they
just looked at the man who acted like he said nothing shocking.
