Chapter 574 - Imposter...!!!
CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife
"Daughter, what are you doing here? Who brought you here? Don't you
know our family is going crazy after you were kidnapped?
Tell dad who kidnapped you; I'll rip apart his head.â Nate said those
words from his heart, but it was for his daughter; he was furious.
âDad, no one brought me here. No one kidnapped me. I left my own.
Dad, I love him, but see he is marrying another woman; dad, please
help me, stop this wedding; I can't live without him.â The woman cried
in pain.
Nate looked at fake Grace with a cold expression. "Grace, do you know
what you are saying? How could you say this? Are you alright?
Tell dad, did he do anything to you, don't tell me he kidnapped you?"
Suddenly, Nate raised his cold eyes and looked at Oscar.
Oscar sneered; he expected this from this man.
"Uncle, are you kidding me? Why would I do anything for her? I did not;
I found her a few days ago; how can you blame me without knowing the
truth?"
Oscar tried to put on the act of a gentleman.
"So?" Nate asked him with a smile that didn't reach his eyes, "Does this
fool this? Nate Allen was dumb; he could put anything in the name of
kindness.
"I saved her, but she grew attached to me, even though I don't like her;
otherwise, do you think I'd be here?" Oscar said emotionally.
"Bastard." Nate cursed him in his heart.
"So you didn't send her to the Allen family since you knew she was the
daughter of the Allen family?" Nate asked.
âI didn't know her identity earlier; she never told me her name." he lied
with a straight face.
"Okay, why should I believe she is my daughter since she admitted she
was never kidnapped?
but clearly, we have proof someone kidnapped my daughter from her
home with her son?" Nate asked in a tone of complete coldness.
Oscar and others fell silent; Oscar felt something was off. Shouldn't
Nate Allen thank him and try to take away his daughter? Why was he
going in another direction that he had never expected?
"Uncle Allen, I don't know what you are saying; I don't know what
happened; when I found her, she was unconscious.
There was no child with her; I felt it was my duty to save a girl in
danger." Oscar tried to wash his hands with this speech.
But how could Nate let him do as he wants?
âBut if she is my daughter, why would she be so crazy for a stranger
who just saved her and never goes back to her family since she has
other children at home," Nate asked again, not giving Oscar going
ahead with his plan.
"Uncle, are you trying to blame me? I don't even know she is your
daughter, and what does it have to do with me why she didn't return to
her family?" Oscar taunted coldly; he gritted his teeth coldly.
On the other hand, other than the coward, old master Allen looked at
his son and the girl who claimed to be his granddaughter.
The cane on his hand fell, and he felt guilty looking at the girl in front of
him.
He was shocked, and his heartbeat quickened when he heard the girl
claim to be his granddaughter, who died years ago. What was more
shocking was that his son seemed to know his daughter was alive.
So he knew, yet he didn't bother to tell his family, yet threw his family
like trash; he let them live in guilt because he wanted to take revenge.
Thinking about this, old master Allen became furious. He hated his
eldest son already, and now he hated this ungrateful creature even
more. How could he do this to his father?
But the old master forgot he was the one who didn't let him be happy in
his life and just played the role of a silent audience when the other son
played with Nate's life and family and almost ruined his life.
If he were not selfish, his granddaughter would be with them, but he
chose his son over his granddaughter; now that the mess had
happened, he felt like something was going on.
And what's with his granddaughter being married and already have
children, and, most importantly, how she was still alive?
Like him, the crowd also had the same reaction; they didn't know what
was going on? But from the conversion that happened in front of them,
they knew this was something with this Miss Allen.
This girl was supposed to be a dead person; how come she became
alive and turned to be obsessed with the Astor family's youngest son
while she was the Astor family's eldest grandson's fiance?
"Dad, you can't blame him; I was the one who loved him; yeah, I'm
sorry, I felt guilty, and since David is dead already, I didn't want to go
back anymore,
But dad, can I not love anyone else anymore? Dad, please don't blame
brother Oscar; he saved me." So fake, Grace said while sobbing.
Nate felt this dumb girl never could be his daughter because his
daughter would never say something like this, this running herself in
front of the world, yet this girl looked proud of her action as if she was
trying to prove something in front of the world.
âYou're not my daughter.â Nate Allen said and shocked everyone again.
Oscar had an ominous feeling in his heart; why was this going to the
opposite? He wanted Nate to admit this was his daughter, but he
directly refused and told him this was not his daughter.
David laughed at the earpieces. His father was not born to be an actor,
but could he just be patient since he had already blurted it out?
David didn't stop him since there was no need to play anymore.
"Are you ready, guys? David asked on the other side of the phone.
Derek heard the question and laughed excitedly. âI can't be more
ready."
He knew what was going on inside the mansion. So when David heard
this, he laughed.
"brother, I gave you the responsibility to show, I, David Xiver's woman,
is not someone they should play, but don't let them die yet; my move is
yet to come.â
David said Derek could feel the chilliness from David's words; it was
similar to a thousand years of iciness in a ghost; Derek knew David
would hunt Oscar Astor like a ghost.
Before, Oscar Astor was in the dark and played with them like fools.
Now David was in the dark, and he would play with him until he
wouldn't drive Oscar Astor to his grave.
"Don't worry; you will get your turn; let us vent our anger since they
dared to elude our brother's wife, which was a sin of his life," Derek
said seriously.
"All the best," David said.
The fake Grace returned to her senses at the party and put on a bitter
expression.
"Father, how can you say this to your daughter, dad? You didn't even
recognize your daughter anymore. My life is so bitter. My husband is
dead,
The man I like getting married to is someone else. My dad didn't want
me anymore. Dad, why is my life so bitter? The fake Grace fell on her
knees and cried bitterly.
Mia was quick when she saw Oscar didn't even react when he cried so
bitterly, which means Nate was right; otherwise, how could the man
stay silent since Grace Allen was his life's obsession?
She smirked, so that's what Oscar Astor wants to do.
"You should stop your pretentious act; when I said you're not my
daughter, I mean it.
You're not my daughter because my daughter will accept death with
open arms instead of saying she loves anyone besides her husband.
don't you dare tarnish my daughter's reputation, guards; hold this
imposter; how dare she pretend to be my daughter?" Nate's sudden
declaration caught everyone off guard.
Fake Grace's face turned frightened; she looked at Oscar with hopeful
eyes. She did everything he wanted; now that things were not going, he
wished, what he would do?
The bodyguards that came with Nate were not ordinary people; they
were the secret guards of the Black Dragon. When they heard the
order, they didn't even wait for a second and grabbed Grace's fake
shoulder and held her like a criminal.
Oscar and Rebel looked at each other; their plan was missed before
they could start the play.
Now saving themselves was the most significant trouble for them.
"Dad, what are you doing? Save me, dad; I'm your Grace." The fake
Grace yelled; Nate couldn't bear it anymore.
"Shut her mouth; I don't like her calling me dad," Nate ordered the
guard, and one of them put clothes in the fake Grace's mouth; now, she
couldn't even utter a word anymore.
"Huh, you say you're my daughter, fool; if you wanted to play my
daughter, at least you should know she never admitted she is Grace
Allen,
She is Kate David Xiver; she is proud of her identity, unlike you fake;
since you appeared, you tried to ruin her reputation the moment you
appeared. Do you take me as a fool?"
He laughed at the fake Grace, but someone else knew this was not for
the fake; it was for him.
Oscar felt someone slap his face hard; he thought he could fool Nate
Allen with a fake Grace, but who knew? It was not as easy as he
thought.
But he didn't know that it was not his plan that was not perfect.
David Xiver's love showed the world that Kate Xiver was only his, and
her love also belonged to him only. The world well knew this truth,
including Nate Allen.
Oscar's plan would've fooled them if not David had found Kate. He
planned everything flawlessly, but someone beat him on his game
before he could execute his plan.
âYou're a fake? I can't believe you dared to betray me; I will show the
pain of betraying me. Rebel, take her away; I will deal with her.â Oscar
said in a cold and sinister tone.
David laughed in his heart. He knew his plan had failed, yet he wanted
to take the fake so he could get away quickly.
Rebel looked at their men. They hurriedly walked toward the girl and
wanted to drag her away, but Nate laughed out suddenly.
"Did I say you can take her away, Oscar Astor? She pretended to be
my daughter and tried to fool me; she even tried to ruin my daughter's
name; how could I just hand her to you?
Also, I need her to find out why she does look exactly like her daughter
since we don't know who kidnapped my daughter; she will be the best
clue for us."
Nate looked at Oscar; even though Oscar felt something was wrong
with how the table turned, he was not a fool.
"Uncle, this is the Astor family mansion; she tried to play us; we have
the right to negotiate with her."
Oscar would never let Nate take this fake away; otherwise, it wouldn't
take long for him to find out about his involvement in Grace's
kidnapping.
"Sorry, but I have to take her away.â Nate firmly answered.
Oscar had no way but to turn to his men. "Take her away." he was not
going to back down, it was okay he fell, but he would never let them
find out about real Grace.
"Boy, you're too naive." Nate just stood aside and let Oscar's men
approach his guards; when they were about to grab the fake one.
David's guard stood before them. The bodyguards tried to fight against
the guard of Black Dragon, but they failed; Black Dragon's guards just
shot them on the spot.
"Ahhhh," the guests screamed when they saw such a bloody scene in
front of them.
They never thought the guards would directly shoot someone; they
didn't just kill one person; they Killed five bodyguards without mercy.
Oscar gritted his teeth when he saw how the guards didn't even care
about the world and killed his men directly.
Only when he saw the weapons in their hands did he know these
people were no ordinary guards. They look like they were from the
black dragon,
This thought made him feel troubled. He didn't understand where
exactly his plan had gone wrong.
Everything was perfect. Even Nate Allen's first reaction was as he
expected, so where did it go wrong?
But he was not going to hand over this woman. This woman knew too
much. If he gave up on her now, she would spoil everything.
He planned to Kill her, but before he could, the plan backfired.
"Are you crazy, Nate Allen? Even if you don't respect your elders, how
could you kill people in my home?" Old master Astor was furious.
Nate looked at the old master Astor. "Old master, you should tell your
grandson not to mess with the wrong people, since this girl is
pretending to be my daughter.
She wanted to ruin my reputation; obviously, I would investigate this
matter; why is your grandson so worked up? My daughter is still
missing.
Why is he trying to prevent me from investigating the only clue that
could lead us to my daughter?" Nate's accusation was like a slap on
Old master Astor's face.
Yeah, everyone had the same thought; since Nate Allen said she was
fake and wanted to find his daughter through her, why was Oscar Astor
so worked up and refused to give up?
"Mr. Allen, you know this is my territory, yet you killed my men. Do you
think I will still let you take this girl away?"
Oscar smiled coldly. He was reluctant, and his resistance showed a
different side of him.
He thought as long as Grace was in his hand, nothing could stop him
from getting what he wanted, and no one could snatch her away.
Nate smiled. "If you keep doing this, others will think you planned this
fake show." Nate's comment caught Oscar off guard.
Everyone looked at Oscar differently; they suddenly became suspicious
because of his actions.
Rebel looked at his master; he knew if his master still didn't let go,
things would be messy, their identity would get exposed in front of the
world, and they would only have to hide in darkness.
"Master, we will have another chance; let this go." Rebel whispered into
his master's ear.
When Oscar heard this, he gritted his teeth and angrily cursed in his
heart. He wanted to blow everything, but he knew his identity could not
get exposed in front of these people.
When Nate saw Oscar was silent, Nate knew he knew what was good
for him.
