When the pair returned to back their seats, the boys were already engrossed in the concert, phones out recording, singing out loud with their crowd. "Come on." Rumi said patting Chan's back as they pushed through them. "Dino-ya!" Seungkwan noticed the younger one arrive. Chan grinned, joined him and Jeonghan cheering for their juniors. Rumi looked for Youngjae and noticed him cheering with Hoshi at one side and Dokyeom at other while Minghao was recording them on his phone. Rumi chuckled and quietly went to stand beside Mingyu who was giggling at the antics of his members.
"You're not gonna join them?" Rumi asked. Mingyu turned to look at her and shook his head.
"Watching them is funnier." Mingyu laughed and leaned towards her. "And I am keeping this one company." He said nodding towards Wonwoo who was standing beside him bobbing his head to tune. "He seemed to be out of it since yesterday. He's acting weird too. Earlier he refused to come along no matter how much times I asked and gapjagi yesterday he was like I'm coming too." Mingyu explained imitating Wonwoo's deep voice. Rumi smiled at his imitation. "Yesterday when you both walked off, did you fight?" He asked glancing at Wonwoo. Rumi choked and looked away. She had completely forgotten that they were all present there when Wonwoo had blown up.
Rumi shook her head denying. "Fight? Why would we fight? Haha we didn't." Rumi laughed speaking with a very high-pitched voice. Mingyu gave her a sceptical look, it was not only him but she had attracted Wonwoo's attention too. Wonwoo glanced at Mingyu and her; when did Rumi-ssi returned? He thought peeking at her. What happened? Why is she laughing like that? He wondered glancing at Mingyu. "You are lying." Mingyu said narrowing his eyes. "Something ha-" He was cut off by Chan. "Noona! Come here!"
"Eo!" Rumi replied. "Excuse me!" She quickly bided and left to join Dino and others. Mingyu watched her suspiciously with his eyes narrowed until Wonwoo nudged him. "What happened?" He mouthed. Mingyu smiled and shook his head. "Do you want to join them?" Mingyu asked nodding towards their members. Wonwoo stared at them for few seconds and nodded his head.
"Noona, hold this!" Chan shout passing one end of the banner he was holding asking her to hold up. Rumi laughed reading it. "When did you all prepare this?" She asked waving the banner. "Seungkwan hyung and Dokyeom hyung did." Dino swaying his body to tune just like the crowd. "Mwohae?! Are you going to just stand still like that?!" He shouted, Rumi looked at him in question, what was she suppose to do then? "Come dance!" He grabbed her and both swayed to the music. Rumi laughed as he started dancing similar to moves at the girls on stage. "Come on do this!" He shouted urging her to following along.
"Ani! I'm good." Rumi laughed shaking her head. "Then hold this." He huffed handing her a torch, well it looked like a torch to her; and danced along with Seungkwan, Hoshi, Seokmin. She almost bursting out laughing, Youngjae was trying his best to keep up with idols. A tall, stiff man shaking his butt was not an everyday sight. "What are you doing? You are supposed to shake the light stick. Look at them!" Chan scolding pointing at the crowd who were holding the similar torch in their hands.
"I'm doing it already aren't I?" Rumi said, thinking how unsatisfactory this boy can. He always has to nick pick everything. Rumi started shaking the torch vigorously to his satisfaction when she noticed a figure coming to stop behind him. The eyes already staring at her, an amused smile suiting his lips. Rumi coughed and looked away. "Take this." She pushed the torch back in Chan's hand. "My hand hurts from holding." She excused herself and went back to quietly staring at the boys enjoying themselves.
Soon the concert was coming to an end. "Yedera, we need to get going." One of the managers said gathering boys. Youngjae returned to Rumi's side as the boys prepared to leave.
"Aarso." Jeonghan said nodded grabbing his children. "Let's get going."
"Hyung!" Hoshi called out. Rumi nudged Youngjae realising Hoshi was calling out to him. "Hyung, do you want to come with us? We are planning to eat before returning!" Youngjae opened and closed his mouth flustered, not only he had enjoyed the concert with his favourite idols but now they were inviting him for dinner. Youngjae turned to look at Rumi.
Rumi smiled and leaned in. "If you want to..." She trailed off. Youngjae locked their arms together and followed the boys. Rumi laughed looking at the huge smile her oppa was wearing. "Are you that happy? Your smile is not moving an inch." Rumi said.
"Of course, I am happy!" Youngjae chirped. "It's not everyday you get to eat with your favourite idols." He said.
"Then does that mean you forgive me?" Rumi asked. Youngjae looked at her and then glanced at Wonwoo was walking right ahead them. He let out a sign and nodded his head. "You talked with him didn't you?" He asked nodding towards Wonwoo. Rumi looked away replying with a soft, "Sort of."
"What do you mean sort of? I noticed you both exchanging looks and those little laughs." Youngjae said narrowing his eyes at her. "You both did talk but something happened. I can sense the awkwardness from miles."
"What awkwardness? It's nothing like that." Rumi was quick to deny her voice going a pitch higher, indicating she was clearly lying. Youngjae was quite familiar her habits. "Hyung!" Hoshi called for Youngjae again, Rumi was quick to push him ahead. "Go on, he's calling you." She said, Youngjae narrowed his eyes warning her that he's not letting this go before leaving. Rumi let a sign in relief. "I'm safe for now." She muttered.
"Safe?" Chan appeared beside her startling her. She mentally cursed before giving him tight lipped smile. "You have a habit of talking to yourself, you know that." Chan said. Rumi rolled her eyes. "Yes, I am aware of that." Chan opened to his mouth to retort something at that but let it go. "I want to thank noona for lending the shirt." He said looking down at the shirt tied around his waist.
Rumi hummed and patted his head. "There's no need to thank me. It's my job to look after you." Rumi replied and realized her choice of words. She was about to fix them but Chan caught it first.
"Your job? How is it your job to take care of us? You are not our manager."
"I mean, you call me noona right? So, it is my duty as elder to protect my dongsaeng, isn't it?" Rumi smiled patting his head again. Chan narrowed his eyes at her and removed her hand. "Not a teenager." He warned her before she went and called him one. Rumi laughed nodding her head. Chan scoffed and looked away. "By the way, who is that man?" He asked nodding towards Youngjae who was conversing with his members.
"Eo, that is Youngjae oppa." Oppa? Chan looked at her in question. "Like older brother. The one I live with here, in Korea." Rumi answered. Chan made a 'oh' sound and nodded his head. "What is that? The sound of 'oh' and that nod."
"Ani, it's just I feel sad and sorry. I can just imagine what pain that man has to go through." Chan replied with a look of sympathy on his face. "You little..." Rumi grabbed him a chokehold. "Aren't you quite empathic, huh?" Rumi asked and Chan tapped her arm laughing. "What can I say? Noona is not someone one can live with." He laughed teasing her. "Why you little bastard..."
"Sunbaenim." Rumi looked up upon hearing familiar voice, it was Hyun who was here to escort boys out of the venue. Rumi let go of Chan and nodded at him. He nodded back and went ahead not before bowing towards Youngjae in respect.
"Eo? Hyun." Youngjae nodded as Hyun escorted them. "Hyung, knows Hyun-ssi?" Hoshi asked noticing their exchange. "Um, I do. Rumi's friend?" He answered glancing at Rumi who gave him a nod in affirmative.
"Rumi-ssi is surrounded by good looking guys." Jeonghan commented. "Of course, she's like magnet. Gathering all handsome guys. I mean look at me." Hoshi said rubbing his chin. Jeonghan gave him flat look while others let out groans and scoffs. "I think hyung meant Youngjae hyung, Hyun-ssi and Gu Hwa-ssi. Wah their visuals and..." Dokyeom said looking at strong figure of Youngjae "..are something." He completed his sentence with a wow.
"Gu Hwa?" Youngjae's interest piqued at his name. Rumi almost smacked her head. "Eo. You know Gu Hwa-ssi. Wah he's muscles are something, right Wonwoo-ya?" Dokyeom said looking at Wonwoo. Rumi snapped her eyes to Wonwoo. What? Wonwoo nodded his head. What is this? Wonwoo-ssi thinks that bastard is attractive?
"Hyung knows Gu Hwa-ssi?" It was Hoshi who questioned him. "Of course, he does." Rumi had cut Youngjae off before he could answer to that. "Why wouldn't he know him? Gu Hwa and oppa are good friends. Actually, it is because of oppa I know that bast-Gu Hwa." She lied through her teeth while giving a look to Youngjae who nodded and played along.
"Right, Gu Hwa and I used to work together, Rumi used to visit me at work, that's how they got to meet. But how do you guys know him?" Youngjae asked playing feign. "Ah, oppa I forgot to tell you, Gu Hwa works in security department now, with Hyun." Rumi said nodding towards Hyun. "Ah, jinja? He didn't say anything." Youngjae nodded. Everyone looked at the siblings conversing normally but there was a pair of eyes who was carefully observing them.
"Ah! Let's go click pictures with banners. I need to post on insta later." Seungkwan said gathering everyone for photos. Rumi let out a sigh not before giving a pointed look to Youngjae. He gave her a guilty smile, preferring to stand away luckily for him, the boys called him join them for photos.
"Ah, look at that smile after getting me in trouble." Rumi muttered scowling at him. "I think I'm gonna regret my decision." She continued looking at the idols treating him as if they have known each other for years and not for an hour. "Hm, definitely going to regret it." Rumi nodded to herself.
"Regret what?" Rumi looked at voice. It was Hyun who came to stand beside. "Eo? Ani. Nothing." Rumi shook her head and crossed her arms observing the boys as they took pictures. Why are they clicking so many? She wondered watching them scattered here and there before gather together again. Hyun stared at her. "What happened to you shirt?" He asked noticing her shirt gone. She was just in her black undershirt; the weather wasn't that cold but it wasn't warm either for her to be wandering in only thin t-shirt.
"Lent it to someone." She replied nonchalantly. Hyun let out a sigh and moved to unzip his hoodie when Rumi put her hand on his zip. "Don't. It's not that cold." She said. Hyun glanced at her and then her hand which was resting on his chest. This is not good. He thought when he's heart suddenly started going fast. "We drove here so there's- Yah, what is wrong?" Rumi worriedly turned towards him feeling his chest rising and falling rapidly. "Yah, Gwenchana?" She asked pressing her palm against his chest.
"M-mwo? A-ani. Na gwenchana." Hyun stuttered shrugging off her hand. "It's nothing much, happens from time to time." He replied averting his eyes. Rumi furrowed her eyes. "Really? You should get it check out though. You never know right?" Hyun hummed nodding his head. He really need to check it out for he had fallen for such dumb one.
"Rumi-ya iriwayo! (Come here) Let's click pictures." Jeonghan called waving over. "Eo!" Rumi nodded. "Consult a doctor, hm?" Rumi patted his shoulder and left. The boys had already position themselves, Youngjae, Seokmin, Hoshi, Seungkwan and one of the managers were crouching down while others were standing behind them. Rumi looked for a spot to stand when Minghao shifted and made for her. Rumi smiled and stood beside him.
"Hyun-ssi can you click pictures for us?" Hoshi asked. Hyun nodded taking the camera from the manager who rushed and joined the group. "Uh manager-nim, can you stand in middle? And Wonwoo-ssi can you move to end? It's looking very odd right now." Hyun asking setting the phone in the angle. "Hyun-ssi has great sense!" Chan commented as he was sandwiched between two pillars. Mingyu teased him while Wonwoo nodded and moved to end which happened to be right beside Rumi.
Rumi pressed her lips together and tried her best to look ahead and not give into her senses. Her body started tingling when he came to stop beside her. She could feel the warmth from him even though there was ample space between them. Rumi held her breath to stop her heart from going faster. "Wonwoo-ssi can you..." Hyun waved his hand asking Wonwoo to move closer to Rumi. Wonwoo glanced at Rumi who had frozen herself, he nodded and stepped closer accidentally bumping into her. Both of them flinched and snapped their eyes to each other.
"Aarso, ready? Hana dul set!" Hyun snapped the photos few times before checking them. Hm? He noticed the two figure and looked back at the group. They were still in the same position. "Hyun-ssi are they good?" Seungkwan asked. Hyun looked at him and shook his head. "Um..." He trailed off his eyes moving back to the pair who were unaware of their surroundings. "Sunbaenim moved a little." Hyun said nodding towards the Rumi.
"Yah, Rumi-ya! Look at the camera. My legs are starting to hurt!" Hoshi scolded breaking the pair out of their trance.
"Eo? Eo, eo." Rumi nodded looking Hoshi. "Mian." She apologised looking ahead at the camera.
Hyun quickly snapped few shots and handed the phone back to Seungkwan who came rushing towards him. "Are they good?" He asked, Hyun nodded half attentive as his eyes followed Rumi. What's with her? She shyly bowed towards Wonwoo-ssi and walked out of there. That was odd of her. He watched her as she walked back to him. She glanced at Seungkwan and pulled Hyun aside. "We'll be heading out to eat." She whispered. "You are staying here?" She asked.
Hyun nodded glancing around. "When I'm done I'll follow you-"
"Ani. It's fine. You finish up here. I can handle this." She nodded watching boys debating over seating arrangement. "I'll let you know if you are needed." Hyun nodded. "You too." She patted his arm.
"Then I'm leaving." Rumi said ready to leave. "Rumi." She turned around and raised her eyebrow. "Um. Ani take care." He said and walked off. Eh? She looked at him in question. Take care? Since when?
"Yah! Hyun-ah?" She called. "What's with him?" She asked to no one in particular and made her way to car waiting her. She pulled opened the door to shotgun seat. "Oppa, do you think Hyun is act-Yah, what are you doing here?" Rumi asked narrowing her eyes at the hamster who had taken over her seat. Rumi leaned down and looked at her brother. "Oppa what is this rat doing here?"
"There's no space in other car." Hoshi replied grinning at her. Rumi tsked and slammed the door shut at his face and got in behind. "Of course, you had to be here too." Rumi grumbled closing the door.
"As hyung said, seats are already taken in the other car." Chan grinned copying his brother. Rumi grumbled something under her breath before asking Youngjae to hurry up.
