His Ex wife is a billionaire Chapter 782
His Ex wife is a billionaire (Evadne and Thaddeus) Novel Full Episode
Chapter 782
The moment the live stream flickered to life, the police had zeroed in on the kidnappersâ hideout.
Squad cars encircled the crumbling villa, with sirens piercing the night sky; the blue and red lights of the cars expelled the shadows of fear.
Glynnis was still knocked out cold on the floor, but Edith, with the tenacity of a cockroach, had come to her senses earlier.
Hearing the wail of sirens, she panicked and attempted to flee, only to be confronted by several familiar silhouettes storming in with earthâshaking presence.
âMarilla!â
Jareth burst in first; in his eyes brimming with tears of blood, a glimmer of hope shined through the pain.
Heâd always been fearless; even having known that Star Island was home to stoneâcold mercenaries, heâd ventured there with Thaddeus.
But now, he was pale; his steps were unsteady, and he was almost stumbling.
The living room was a mess, with the bullies sprawled out across the floor, and Glynnis was still unconscious.
The space was small, but Marillaâs fragile figure was nowhere to be seen.
Thaddeus and Evadne dashed into the other rooms, calling out for Marilla, but to no avail!
Thatâs when Aaron, flanked by two colleagues, burst through the door:
âWeâve searched the villa top to bottom, including the basement. No sign of Marilla!â
âAnd Lily?!â Evadne was frantic, and her beautiful face was slick with sweat.
âWe canât reach her! But our tech team is on her phoneâs trail!â
A sinking feeling hit Thaddeus, âEvadne, you said this was Garyâs doing, so could these scum be a smokescreen? Could Marilla and Lily have been moved by him?!â
Evadne was choked by terror, barely able to breathe.
Edith, seeing no way out and shaking like a leaf, tried to play the victim; she crawled to Jareth, sobbing and wailing:
âBig brother! Youâve come for me? I was brought here by Gary, and he tried to kill me. Ah!!â
Her plea cut short by a boneâchilling scream, but Jareth, with his eyes blazing with murderous intent, kicked her like a soccer ball, sending her flying!
The room was silent, save for the thud of Edith crashing against the wall, then sliding down like a broken doll.
*Ugh.
She curled up, twitched, and vomited a mouthful of blood.
But Jareth showed no mercy; he just stomped toward her and kicked her relentlessly.
He wanted her dead,
The pain was excruciating, but Edith couldnât even sob; she could do nothing but writhe before her old classmate, her former lover; her disgrace was on full display.

Chapter 782
Thaddeus just watched; normally heâd intervene, but not this time. He watched coldly, because Jarethâs actions mirrored his own desires.
Yet, Thaddeus wouldnât let his hands be stained with blood, nor would he let his buddy pay the price.
âJareth! Stop, if she dies, youâll face the consequences!â
Aaron, as a cop, had to step in, âDo you want to be separated from Marilla forever?!â
Jarethâs eyes were wild as he broke free from Aaron, grabbed Edith by the hair, and hauled her battered body
up:
âWhereâs Marilla? Where?!â
âI⦠donât⦠knowâ¦â
Edith could barely speak through the blood, but she was still denying, âIt wasnât me.â
âEdith, even now you lie?â
Evadne, trembling with rage, cried out, âEverything youâve done since entering this villa was caught on hidden cameras, and it was streamed online. The whole country has seen your crimes; youâve been played by Gary, yet you still wonât tell the truth? Are you waiting to see your own coffin?!â
Edith was stunned, with her mouth agape, and it grew increasingly wide until it turned into a gaping and bloody hole.
âI know! I know!â
Frank, the coward, blurted out, âTwo men came; they took Marilla and a woman away! Edith called one of them Ken, but he ignored her! Mr. Thaddeus! Mr. Fairhaven! We were all tricked by Edith! She threatened us if we didnât hurt Marilla, sheâd kill us! We had no choice. Ah!â
Thaddeus glared coldly, and kicked him squarely in the face, âHow dare you call her Marilla?â
The kid cried, with his teeth shattered.
âSince middle school, Edith bullied Marilla! We were all under her spell!â another chimed in between sobs.
âEdith! You wondered who betrayed you? It was me!â
The girl in the red dress confessed, âIâve always hated your guts! Youâve always just used us to bully Marilla, and never gave us a second glance!â
As the walls closed in, the traitors turned on each other.
Alston, lying in the corner, wanted to speak.
But his tongue was gone.
Thaddeus wouldnât let slide the one who tried to assault his sister.
He strode over, and delivered a brutal kick below Alstonâs belt.
âMmph!â Alstonâs severed tongue quivered and his body turned rigid; the severe pain knocked him out cold.
Now, he was completely silenced.
Evadneâs eyes blazed with fury, âItâs Garyâs doing, Aaron. We need to issue a nationwide manhunt for Garyânow!â
âThe warrantâs out. Every port, station, and airport is locked down tight. He wonât get far,â Aaron gritted, with his knuckles cracking. As the head of the detective squad, he was fighting to keep his emotions in check.

Chapter 782
âHa, Ahahaha!â
Glynnis, sporting a massive bump on her head, had come to senses; she pointed at Edith, and cackled like a madwoman. âEdith, youâve played me for so long and dragged me through hell and now youâve got yours!â
Evadne, consumed by rage, strode over and slapped her hard across the face. âWho sent you back here? Spill it!â
âHeh. Iâd die before I told you, you wretch!â Glynnis sneered, and gave out a hazy laughter.
âYou think crawling back here means youâve escaped? Your fateâs only going to be worse now!â
âWho cares? Iâm riddled with disease. What do I have to fear? I made Edith drink my blood, so now sheâs got it too. Marilla bit Edith, and sheâs gonna get it as well.
Hahahaha! Theyâve all got AIDS! Thaddeus, all your scheming ended up dragging your precious sister into this mess! You deserve it, oh you do! Hahahaha!â
Evadneâs gaze was icy as she stared at Glynnisâ diseased face, and a cold laugh escaped her lips.
The chances of AIDS transmitting this way were next to nothing since the HIV virus could hardly survive in the digestive tractâs mucus.
But she wouldnât be the one to enlighten Glynnis.
Let the fool wallow in her delusion of victory. Let Edith live in fear day and night.
They deserved every bit of it!
âEdith, each kick is payback for what you did to my wife. Now, Iâm returning the favor!â
Jareth dropped Edith to the ground again; he felt his hatred blazing like a wildfire through his organs and ravaging his heart. âYou could die a thousand times and it still wouldnât be enough to atone for what you did to Marilla!â
Just then, his phone rang.
Jarethâs eyes widened at the sight of the name flashing on the screen: Gary.
Trembling, he brought the phone to his ear. A voice laced with malice came through:
âJareth, your uncle never showed you much love, but let this be my final gift to you. Do you like it?â
All fell silent, and the police were also listening in to trace Garyâs location through Jarethâs phone.
âLeave Marilla and Lily out of this. This is between you and me,â Jarethâs voice was so hoarse that it was barely coherent.
âIâve sent you the address. Come and find me,â Garyâs sinister laugh echoed.
âItâs time to end this, man.â
