His Ex wife is a billionaire Chapter 75
His Ex wife is a billionaire (Evadne and Thaddeus) Novel Full Episode
Chapter 75
A Rolls Royce rolled into the gates of Silverlake Harbor, the vintage-style buildings standing tall and majestic under the sunset
The moment the gates opened, the ser vants were all abuzz.
âThe Miss is back!â
Evadne and Cas sius had barely stepped out of the car when they saw the butler and the ser vants lined up on both sides, bowing respectfully.
âWelcome home, Miss!â
âMiss, may you be forever happy and healthy!â
Evadne smiled in response, saying. âThe same to you guys.â
Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out.
âEvadne! Youâre finally back! Weâve missed you so much!â
Following the sound, she saw Suri and a short-haired woman rushing towards her. The woman was dressed in a purple satin shirt and black wide-leg trousers and was tall and beautiful. She was Emeric Ashbourneâs last and youngest wife, Aviana Ashbourne.
âSuri, Aviana.â Evadne smiled and greeted them with a warm hug.
Cas sius watched this scene with mixed feelings.
The Ashbourne family was Skyrimâs top family, with complicated relationships and numerous family feuds. When Aviana joined the Ashbourne family, all hell broke loose. Thatâs why Evadne left home to become a doctor without borders, leading a tough and nomadic life. But these three women slowly melted her indifference with their sincerity. while Cas sius shared many stories about them, helping Evadne gradually accept them.
The problem now was that if there was anyone to blame, it was their father, Emeric.
âEvadne, youâve lost weight.â Aviana looked at Evadne with a reproachful look. âCas sius, if youâre too busy to take care of Evadne, just spit it out; we can help. You said you would help Evadne gain weight, but now she looks like a skinny monkey. You owe me an explanation.â
Cas sius chuckled, âMy bad, my bad, Iâll make it right.â
Evadne chimed in, âAviana, you know Iâm the type who can eat and not gain weight. Cas sius even brought his chief secretary, Jason, to take care of me. You know Jasonâs cooking skills; Iâm well taken care of every day so you guys donât have to worry.â
Aviana laughed in response, saying, âI donât buy it. Can Jasonâs cooking skills compare to Myraâs? Myra has been busy preparing ingredients since she heard you were coming back. Sheâs been in the kitchen all day, not even taking a sip of water. Your dad said itâs like sheâs preparing for a state banquet, even more formal than entertaining foreign dignitaries.â
Evadne chuckled, âMyra is taking it too seriously; I said a family dinner would be enough; itâs all about the reunion.â
âWe all offered to help her, but she insisted on doing it herself because she said she doesnât trust anyone elseâs cooking skills.â
Suri sighed lightly, laughing. âMyra may seem the gentlest, but who knew she could be so stubborn? Sheâs truly uncontrollable.â
âMyra doesnât distrust you, Suri; she distrusts Aviana, right?â
Evadne giggled, âAfter all, after you burnt the pot four times, set off the fire alarm three times, and blew up the stove twice, she doesnât dare let you anywhere near the kitchen.â
âEvadne, can you not always reveal my shortcomings? Weâre still friends, right?â Aviana raised an eyebrow, reaching out to tickle Evadne.
âFriends, the best of friends! Haha!â
They started fooling around like children.
Whenever Evadne thought about Myra Barlow Ashbourne, she would remember her days as Thaddeusâs wife in the Abernathy family.
She lived like she was walking on thin ice for those three years, careful not to upset Thaddeus or the Abernathy family.
She only endured for three years, and it felt like she had been skinned alive. Myra had been there for twenty years; how did she manage?
Women shouldnât have to be so humble for men; they should be independent, strong, and beautiful, blossoming proudly like flowers in the snow, not wasting away in a mansion; it would be such a waste.
A large crowd gathered around Evadne, everyone happily accompanying her into the villa.
The evening breeze was refreshing, as was the moonâs crescent.
A Maybach quietly parked outside Silverlake Harbor, enveloped by the lonely night.
Gordon opened the car door, and Thaddeus got out of the car with his long legs, his deep eyes looking at the gate across the street.
âIâve heard that Chairman Emeric has a penchant for vintage European architecture and has dozens of estates all over the country. Now that Iâm here, it seems the rumors were true.â
Gordon admired the elegant and cla**ic architecture of Silverlake Harbor: âThis is like paradise on earth; itâs truly breathtaking. It even outshines the Windermere Estate.â
Realizing he might have said something wrong, he quickly turned away and smacked his l*ps in self-reproach.
Thaddeusâs eyes were dark, darker than the night sky, reflecting the brightly lit Ashbourne family. He could faintly hear the laughter and chatter, feeling as if his heart was submerged in a winter lake, the cold spreading throughout his b*dy.
Ilana, as Cas siusâs girlfriend, was very popular in the Ashbourne family.
At first, he thought the Ashbourne groupâs relationships were complicated. Emeric had three wives besides his deceased wife. Although they were not officially married, they each had offspring in the Ashbourne family.
Ilana wanted to marry into the Ashbourne family. Those three wives were like three mountains so her situation would definitely be very difficult then she might choose to back down.
But who wouldâve thought she actually got along so well with Cas siusâs family that he could hear their laughter from miles away?
The Ashbourne family folks seemed to like her so much.

Thaddeusâs face was getting paler and paler, and his heart was filled with an unprecedented sense of misery as he felt like he was having trouble breathing.
âDo you have a cigarette? I could use one.â
âEmeric! Iâm back!â Evadne shouted as soon as she entered the living room.
âCould you be any slower? Iâm about to pa** out from hunger!â
Emeric grumbled, striding over with Arnold following behind.
âWow, youâre looking sharp, Emeric. Whatâs with the formal getup? Trying to outshine everyone else?â Evadne joked, giving her dad a once-over.
Emeric was dressed in a waistcoat over a white shirt, a fine gold watch chain hanging from his lapel. Despite his age, his face was still handsome and clear-cut. He looked every bit the wealthy duke from a TV drama.
âDo I need to try to outdo you guys?â Emeric raised an eyebrow and said, âI could be in a movie with my casual outfits. If it was thirty years ago, Iâd be on posters being admired by countless women, alright?â
âUh, Dad, thatâs a bit ominous; the âadmiredâ ones are usually dead.â Arnold reminded him quietly.
âCan you shut up? Who would know if you didnât say anything?â Emeric shot him a glare.
Everyone else knew, except for Emeric!
âWhere are the others? You didnât tell Daryl and Aaron to come back, did you?â Evadne asked with concern.
âMiss, would we dare not follow your orders?â Suri replied with a knowing smile, âDonât worry, we didnât tell them.â
âHmm, so you guys intentionally didnât let those jerks come back? I was wondering why they were so heartless! They didnât even know!â
Emeric sighed regretfully. âAh, itâs a family dinner tonight; you should have called the kids back for a reunion!â
âDaryl Ashbourne married into the Helgen family; itâs so far away, how could you ask her to travel back? Aaron is busy with cases at the police station, and our youngest sister has exams coming up and needs to study. Itâs not convenient for her to leave school. Stop complaining! Isnât this crowd enough for you?â Evadne gave her father a piece of her mind.
âWhat about Elvis? Heâs always idling around, doing nothing. Heâs in Elmsworth; itâs only a two-hour drive. Why didnât he come? Is he dead?â Emeric was clearly irritated when he brought up his fourth son.
âElvis, he.â Before Evadne could finish, a clear and pleasant voice came from behind.
âI was waiting for you to scold me. If you didnât speak up, how would I have a chance to appear?â
Everyone turned around to see Elvis, hands in the pockets of his black trench coat, a mischievous smile on his handsome face as he sauntered over.
âChairman Emeric, Iâm still alive, much to your disappointment.â
As soon as Elvis appeared, Suri and Aviana hurriedly stepped back, their smiles fading.
They knew that Elvis detested this family and them even more. So it was best to stay out of sight at this time.
Evadne breathed a sigh of relief.
As expected, Elvis, always appearing and disappearing unexpectedly, avoiding this family like the plague.
âWhereâs dinner? Is it ready yet? I thought we were eating. Letâs get on with it so I can go about my idle and aimless ways.â
As he spoke, Elvisâs meaningful gaze fell on Evadne.
His expression seemed to say: Iâve done my part; donât be angry anymore.
Evadneâs eyes flickered, and she deliberately avoided his gaze.
The atmosphere in the living room instantly lightened.
Emeric, frustrated, rubbed his cheek and expressionlessly walked up to his son.
âSend me one of your recent photos.â
âWhy?â

âIâm afraid that one day youâll actually be gone, and I wonât even have a photo to remember you by! Send it to me now!â
