His Ex wife is a billionaire Chapter 16
His Ex wife is a billionaire (Evadne and Thaddeus) Novel Full Episode
Chapter 16
âHey, whoâs that guy next to the pretty girl? Donât tell me itâs Cas sius, the CEO of the K Group from Skyrim.â
Jareth raised an eyebrow, âI always heard Cas sius was a high-minded guy who never went to parties like this. I didnât expect him to show up tonight.â
Itâs not surprising that Thaddeus and Jareth got it all wrong.
Because Evadne had four brothers, all quadruplets. Cas sius and Arnold, in particular, look so similar that theyâre easy to mix up if youâre not
familiar.
âIâm green with envy. Such a knockout should be mine. Whatâs the point of being with Cas sius? Heâs nowhere near as fun as me!â Jareth was getting carried away.
Downstairs, llana, her smile sweet as honey, directed at that man.
Thaddeus felt a sudden suffocation in his heart.
Once upon a time, that smile was his alone.
What pi ssed him off more was that all the negative news seemed to have no effect on her, she was still in the mood to be happy.
Meanwhile, he was like a walking ball of stress, either busy handling problems or thinking about how to explain things to her.
âMaybe tonight, Iâll sweep her off her feet. I donât care if sheâs Cas siusâ woman.â Jareth licked his l*ps in anticipation.
âKnock it off. Sheâs my wife.â
Jarethâs eyes widened in surprise, âWhat?!â
âEx-wife,â Thaddeus added, the words felt like a thorn in his throat, causing a painful burn.
âWhat are you talking about?! Sheâs your cold-hearted ex-wife?! Are you blind or just plain dumb? Sheâs a total babe, way better than your Acacia!â
Thaddeus gave Jareth a cold glance, Jareth immediately shut up, âI only said that because I saw her. You never let me meet her before, I thought she was as ugly as a dragon, didnât expectâ¦where are you going?!â
Before he could finish, Thaddeus stormed out of the door.
On the other side, Evadne and Arnold had already had three drinks, her cheeks as red as ripe peaches.
âEvadne, are you okay?â Arnold asked, noticing her tipsy state.
âAnother round! Letâs play dice!â Evadneâs alcohol tolerance was decent, but she was slightly annoyed, hence the quick intoxication.
Just then, Arnoldâs phone rang. It was a call he had to take, possibly an important task, so he said, âEvadne, wait for me, Iâll be back soon after this call.â
Evadne waved him off casually, âSure!â
Once Arnold left, the men around her, like sharks smelling blood, started moving closer.
Evadne lazily surveyed them, as though she was picking out merchandise.
This oneâs too short, that oneâs too skinny, this oneâs nose is too flat, that oneâs eyes are too smallâ¦
None of these men could compare to her ex-husband.
Pity that the handsome man turned out to be all talk, dashing all her hopes and pa**ion.
Then, Evadne noticed a group of rich kids playing in a corner, one of them pouring drinks for a girl.
The man with the oily face was Acaciaâs brother, Ives!
What upset her more was that her sharp eyes spotted one of the men discreetly sl*pping something into the drink and pa**ing it to Ives.
She was immediately furious and made a beeline for them.
âWow! A beauty is coming!â The rich kids drooled at the sight of Evadne.
Ives lost interest in the girl in his arms as soon as he saw her.
âYou guys seem to be having fun, mind if I join?â Evadneâs eyes were alluring, adding to her charm.
âBabe, I can accompany you however you want to play.â Ives licked his l*ps lasciviously.
Evadne picked up the spi ked drink, âSimple, drink this.â
Everyone went quiet. Ivesâ greasy face darkened.

Everyone knew the drink was spi ked with a strong sedative, only a fool would drink it!
âYou donât want to drink? Then Iâll help you!â
And then Evadne, her eyes sharp, tossed the whole drink at Ivesâ face!
Everyone was stunned. The girl squealed in fright and moved away.
âYou bi tch! How dare you splash me?! Do you know who I am?â Ives cursed, wiping his face.
âI donât care who you are. Your mouth stinks like an as shole, youâre getting girls drunk and sl*pping them drugs, youâre worse than a dog.â Evadne casually brushed her hair back, her gaze cold.
Ives was fuming, this woman had the nerve to say his mouth stinks like an as shole!
If it wasnât for the crowd, heâd have rushed up and slapped this cun ning woman!
Just then, two b*dyguards from the Stirling family appeared. Ives gave them a sidelong look, ordering them to take her away.
He had to punish this woman, but before that, he wanted to have some fun with her in bed, that would be making the most out of it!
Two burly b*dyguards lunged at her. Evadne, although slightly drunk, dodged nimbly, leaving them sprawling on the floor.
âYou guys are too slow.â Evadne yawned.
âGrab her!â Ives shouted, still wiping his face.
One of the b*dyguards tried to grab Evadneâs shoulder.
But then, a tall figure stepped in front of her, grabbed the b*dyguardâs arm and fl*pped him over.
The burly b*dyguard was thrown to the ground in a blink of an eye!
âNice moves! *hic*â Evadne hiccupped, then slumped backwards.
Suddenly, a strong hand caught her waist, she felt the manâs deep breath on her cheek, so hot, so ticklish.
âMmmâ¦who is it, donât touch me!â Evadne struggled a bit.
âllana, open your eyes and see who I am.â
Evadne heard a familiar voice, cold, magnetic, but captivating.
Evadneâs heart raced as she slowly looked up into Thaddeusâ cold but charming eyes.
His gaze was slightly narrowed, deepening in color.
He saw her fiery red l*ps, incredibly seductive, if not for her clear and innocent eyes, he would hardly believe this was the Ilana he had been married to for three years.
âIlana, youâre getting bolder, huh? Got Cas sius backing you up so you think you can stir the pot everywhere?â
âYeah, got a problem with that?â
Evadne, with a coquettish tone, said, âEvery time I see someone from the Stirling family, I feel like giving them a good smack. Got an issue with that? Your opinion doesnât bother me one bit!â
Thaddeus, holding her waist, tightened his grip as if to punish her.
âOuchâ¦let go of meâ¦â
Evadne thrummed in his arms, her voice soft because her new anger had made her even more drunk. What sane man could resist such a
situation?
Thaddeusâ eyes darkened.
âThaddeus? Arenât you Acaciaâs husband now?â Ives was taken aback.
âMr. Ives, what are you talking about?â Thaddeus glared at him coldly. âOne more time, Acacia and I arenât officially married yet. How could you say something like that? Is that appropriate?â
Ives choked on his words.
Hearing their conversation, Evadne felt nauseous.
She deeply loathed Acacia, and also Thaddeusâ affectionate address.
Throughout their three years of marriage, he had always called her name indifferently, never with any affection.
The more Evadne thought about it, the more upset she became. So she struggled free from his arm with all her might, preferring to stand unsteadily than let this man touch her.
âApologize to her.â Thaddeusâ tone was completely commanding.
His words were directed at Ives, but his gaze never left Evadne.

After all, her drunken state was quite severe now.
âIt was this woman who came over for no reason, splashed wine on my face, and attacked me! She should apologize to me!â Ives retorted, clearly disgruntled.
âShow some respect.â Thaddeusâ eyes suddenly became serious, âSheâs my ex-wife.â
