Huo Mian thought deeply for a moment and then nodded. “Let him in. I want to see what he wants to say.”

Bella nodded and turned around to open the door.

Soon, a man in flashy looking leisurewear walked in slowly.

“President Huo, it’s been a long time since we last saw each other.” The man smiled.

“Mr. Jiang, how have you been?” Huo Mian said faintly as she looked at Jiang Ye.

“President Huo, do you mind if I smoked a cigarette?”

“Do as you wish.”

Jiang Ye smiled and sat on the sofa in front of Huo Mian. He took out a black and golden box of cigarettes and pulled one out, putting it into his mouth.

“I’ve been living in Jing City for more than six months, I actually wouldn’t have come back if Mo Xue’er didn’t get herself into trouble.”

“So… you’re trying to beg for mercy for her?” Huo Mian asked calmly as she looked at him.

“Beg for mercy? Oh no… It seems you have mistaken something, President Huo… In fact, I don’t care whether she’s dead or alive, whether she’s at the top of her industry or at the dead bottom… She has nothing to do with me.” Jiang Ye chuckled.
