Chapter 364
Love After Marriage: Mr. Lancaster's Hidden Wife
Chapter 364
Melanie ran out of the cinema for her life and headed straight to the car in the parking lot. The moment
she jumped into the car, she screamed at the driver, âDrive! Drive right away!â She was afraid that the
security guards would catch up to her. The driver immediately floored the acceleration pedal. She only
calmed down when the car arrived at Lake Victoria Villa.
She was kicked several times on the back, and it still hurt. She even had a reddish claw mark on her
face.
Melanie was furious. âThat little piece of shit!â She strode into the villa right after she got out of the car.
The housekeeper who worked for Tara gaped at the claw mark on her face. Out of frustration, she
slapped the housekeeper in the face. She shouted, âWhat are you looking at? Iâll slap the shit out of you
if you keep staring!â The housekeeper immediately looked away. Melanie grunted before she headed to
Taraâs room. Tara anticipated her motherâs return. After she closed the door, she asked, âHow was it?â
Melanie grumbled, âSylvia spent the whole day with her children. She didnât meet any men in secret.â
âThat bitch is too cunning,â Tara cursed as she sat down on the couch. Melanie pondered about it for a
moment and asked, âTara, is it possible that she isnât seeing
anyone?â
âImpossible! She must be seeing other men out there, or she would have fallen for Odell.â
âYou canât be too sure about that. She might not have any more feelings for Odell, but it doesnât mean
that will stay permanent. Now that they are remarried, maybe sheâs developing feelings for him again.â
Tara frowned tightly. She immediately recalled the kind look she saw on Odellâs face.
Now that he loved Sylvia, he no longer had disgust and contempt for that woman and must be treating
her well. No woman would be able to resist his kindness, so it was entirely possible for Sylvia to love him
again.
The more Tara thought about it, the angrier she got.
She had to separate them as soon as possible. She could not allow this to continue because the longer
she dragged it out, the lesser chance she had to return to Odellâs embrace.
She turned to her mother and asked in a hurried tone, âDo you have any other ideas other than following
her?â
Melanie immediately answered, âTara, donât worry. Iâll think of something. I promise Iâll help you to win
Odellâs heart.â âI want the bitch to disappear!â âOkay, okay, Iâll come up with a plan right away.
When the mother and kids returned home from the movie, it was already 10 p.m. Isabel and Liam were
already fast asleep in the car.
Sylvia carried both of them back to their room and helped them change into their pajamas. She lay down
beside them and recalled what had happened before the movie.
The thought of almost losing her children to the kidnapper left her anxious. She pulled her phone out and
wonder if she should inform Odell about this.
Two hours ago at 8 p.m., she had texted him that they were watching a movie, so Odell had simply
replied with a brief text.
He must have been busy working at that time.
Sylvia wondered if he was still working now. After some deliberate consideration, she decided to put her
phone away. Since Isabel and Liam were fine and Odell was working abroad, she believed it would be
better to inform him when he came back and save him the worry.
The next day, Sylvia stayed at home and accompanied the kids for the whole day.
After the weekend, it was time for the kids to return to school, but she was afraid after what happened.
On Monday morning, she called Ben and Jacob to follow her as she brought the kids to kindergarten.
She stayed and watched the kids go inside before she left. In the evening, Sylvia arrived at the
kindergarten to pick them up.
